A geared compressor rotor for cold gas applications is provided. The geared compressor rotor includes a pinion shaft having a gear tooth segment having gear teeth. The rotor further includes at least one impeller wheel having an impeller wheel hub and a sealing segment arranged between the gear tooth segment and the impeller wheel hub that bears a seal. The impeller wheel hub and the sealing segment form a common, continuously coherent region composed of a first material. The toothing segment is formed from a second material. The first material is tougher at subzero temperatures than the second material.

Geared compressor rotor for cold gas applications

A with a converter controlled drive includes a rotor, a drive having a variable rotational frequency a working machine and a frequency converter. The drive and the working machine are connected to one another such that a torque is transmitted. The frequency converter is electrically connected to the drive and converts input frequencies to output frequencies. The output frequencies are grouped into a plurality of concentration ranges based upon a rotational speed of the machine. Each concentration range defines a blocking range. The machine has an operating rotational speed range which lies outside the blocking ranges.

Machine having a converter controlled drive

A machine has a rotor and includes a converter-controlled drive and a working machine, wherein the drive and the working machine are connected such that a torque is transmitted. A frequency converter is electrically connected to the drive. The frequency converter is embodied such that in a Campbell diagram intersection points are based on the natural torsional frequency of the rotor and V-shaped symmetrical straight lines of the inter-harmonic exciter frequency for output frequencies. The output frequencies are grouped into a plurality of concentration ranges based upon a rotational speed of the machine, wherein each concentration range comprises output frequencies which are close to one another and which respectively have a common output point on the abscissa of the Campbell diagram. Each concentration range defines a blocking range, wherein the machine has an operating rotational speed range which lies outside the blocking ranges.
