A filter holder for a filter element that has an oval-shaped cross section, with a receiving section receiving the filter element, a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The fluid inlet is arranged such that an inflow direction of the fluid to be filtered is oriented in the direction of a lateral surface of the filter element in order to separate particles contained in the fluid onto a wall of the receiving section with the aid of centrifugal force.

Filter holder, filter element and filter arrangement

A filter holder () for a filter element () has an oval-shaped cross section, a receiving section () for a filter element (), a fluid inlet (), and a fluid outlet (). The fluid inlet () is arranged such that an inflow direction (E) of the fluid (L) to be filtered is oriented in the direction of a lateral surface () of the filter element () such that the fluid (L) to be filtered flows tangentially around the filter element () in order to separate particles () contained in the fluid (L) onto a wall () of the receiving section () with the aid of centrifugal force.

A filter holder for a filter element that has an oval-shaped cross section transverse to a longitudinal direction thereof, the filter holder including: a receiving section configured to receive the filter element; fluid inlet for allowing fluid to be filtered into the filter holder; fluid outlet for letting the fluid filtered out of the filter holder; the fluid inlet is arranged so the inflow direction of the fluid to be filtered into the fluid inlet is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the filter element; the fluid inlet has a guide member configured to deflect the fluid as it flows into the fluid inlet such that it flows around in a spiral in the filter element that can be received in the receiving section in order to separate particles contained in the fluid to be filtered on a wall of the receiving section with the aid of centrifugal force.

Filter holder and filter arrangement

A centrifugal-force separator for separating particles from a fluid has a housing having an inflow opening and an outflow opening. An axial core and a plurality of guide blades connected to the axial core are provided, wherein the axial core and the guide blades are disposed in the housing. The guide blades generate a turbulent flow of a fluid flowing in through the inlet opening into the housing in an inflow direction. The guide blades extend radially between a first helical line at the axial core and a second helical line at a housing wall of the housing. A first pitch of the first helical line is greater than a second pitch of the second helical line.

Centrifugal-force separator and filter arrangement having a centrifugal-force separator of said type

A centrifugal separator for separating particles from a fluid has a housing with an inflow opening and an outflow opening. Guide blades that generate a turbulent flow in a fluid flowing into the housing through the inlet opening are provided. The guide blades each have a leading edge. The leading edge of a first guide blade has a first spacing to a cross-sectional plane of the housing and the leading edge of a second guide blade has a second spacing relative to the cross-sectional plane of the housing, wherein the cross-sectional plane is perpendicular to an inflow direction of the fluid. The first spacing and the second spacing are different from each other. The first and second guide blades each have a length and the lengths differ from each other. Several centrifugal separators can be combined to a filter device.

Centrifugal separator and filter arrangement having a centrifugal separator of said type

A cyclone separator () for separating particles from a gas flow, includes: a first housing component () with a guiding apparatus () for providing the inflowing gas flow with an angular momentum, a second housing component () with an immersion tube () through which the cleaned gas flow can be discharged, and a cyclone tube () which surrounds the immersion tube () and on which at least one opening () is formed for discharging the particles that are separated from the gas flow. The cyclone tube () is formed on the second housing component ().

Two-part cyclone separator

A filter for filtering a fluid has a filter housing and a filter element arranged in the filter housing. A cyclone preseparator is arranged upstream of the filter element, wherein a fluid to be cleaned is guided through the preseparator to the filter element. The cyclone preseparator has at least two cyclone cells that have a different diameter, respectively.

Filter for cleaning a fluid

A separating apparatus which enables particles to be separated from a flowing medium by a preliminary separator which avoids the undesirably high pressure losses due to the flow resistance of known preliminary separators. The separating apparatus has a housing with an inlet and an outlet, in which a flow of air at the inlet end is caused to rotate by an inlet guide device, and is redirected again at the outlet end by an outlet guide device into a linear flow. The pressure recovery is achieved by a defined curvature and arrangement of the guide elements. The guide element curvature has an inlet contour, a retarding contour and a stabilizing contour. Preliminary separators of this type are used primarily in the air intake tracts of internal combustion engines exposed to heavy contamination, such as engines in farm machinery or construction machinery.

Apparatus for separating particles from a flowing medium

A separator device, particularly a separator for separating particles from an air stream, which includes a first stage having at least one centrifugal separator through which the fluid flows along a first axial path. The centrifugal separator has a guide device for generating a spiral movement of the fluid. A second stage is directly downstream from the first stage and has an essentially cylindrical housing. A dust discharge is provided in the area of the fluid outlet, and a central pipe which is arranged concentrically and has a truncated conical shape is provided in the second stage.

Separator device

A filter has a filter housing and a receptacle chamber in the filter housing into which a filter element is insertable. The filter housing has a housing cover for opening and closing an opening of the receptacle chamber. The housing cover is situated in an area of the filter housing between the oncoming flow side and the outgoing flow side of the filter element.

Filter in a filter housing

A multicell cyclone with a plurality of cyclone cells and a method for the production thereof, in which the cyclone cells of the multicell cyclone are combined into groups from which deposited particles are cleaned out by vacuum suction through channel structures. This permits better control of the discharge of separated particles. Vacuum suction of the separated particles can be effected, for instance, via openings () which are jointly provided for the group () of cyclone cells. The group of cyclone cells can furthermore be produced as a module, which can, for instance, be assembled from two parts () in which like structural elements of a group of cyclones are combined into one respective part. This makes it possible to optimize the separation result with little structural complexity and at low production cost.

Multicell cyclone and method for producing it

A method of making an air filter insert for cleaning the combustion air of an internal combustion engine. The method includes producing the filter insert ( ) from a pleated filter medium ( ) which is formed into a hollow cylinder, in which at least one end plate ( ) made of thermoplastic elastomer or thermoplastic polyurethane is disposed on the axial end faces of the filter medium ( ). The at least one end plate ( ) is bonded to the cylindrical filter medium ( ) by heating the filter medium or the end plate ( ) with a high-temperature heating element and fusing the filter medium ( ) and the end plate ( ) to form a welded joint.

Filter system

A housing, in particular a pot-shaped filter housing. To connect housing pot,and cover,, a joint consisting of closure elements such as locking clamps or bow clamps,is proposed which can be attached at the periphery of the housing via receivers,. As there are more receivers,provided on the housing than locking clamps,which are required for absorbing retention forces, it is possible to vary the exact fitting position of the locking clamps according to the respective space available for receiving and mounting the housing. This is essential, because the rotating radius,of the tension levers,of the locking clamps has to be considered when mounting the locking clamps,. It is thus possible to provide housings for any field of use with variable receivers for the closure elements.
