The invention relates to a process for recovering hydrogen (b) from crude gas (a) from a coke oven () in which the crude gas (a) produced in the coke oven () is initially compressed and in which impurities are subsequently removed from the crude gas (a) by pressure swing adsorption, wherein oxygen is depleted from the crude gas (a) using nonthermal plasma prior to the pressure swing adsorption, and to a plant for recovering hydrogen from crude gas.

Method and installation for obtaining hydrogen

A method for producing synthesis gas may involve introducing a hydrocarbon-containing coke-oven gas and a carbon dioxide-containing converter gas into a first reaction zone where hydrogen present in the hydrocarbon-containing coke-oven gas reacts at least partly with carbon dioxide to form water, which reacts thermally with hydrocarbon to form synthesis gas containing carbon monoxide and hydrogen. The method may further involve introducing an oxygen-containing gas in a second reaction zone, and using the oxygen-containing gas and some hydrogen from the first reaction zone to produce thermal energy. Still further, the method may involve supplying the thermal energy produced in the second reaction zone to the first reaction zone.

Method for producing synthesis gas

A plant for producing ethylene having a reactor to effect oxidative coupling of methane, a work-up unit connected to the reactor to separate a first material stream produced by the reactor into a Cmaterial stream and an ethylene product stream and a separation unit connected to the work-up unit to separate the Cmaterial stream into a hydrogen-rich product stream and a hydrogen-lean residual gas stream. The plant also includes a steam cracker to produce () for producing an olefin-containing and hydrogen-containing crude gas stream. The steam cracker is connected to the work-up unit that separates the crude gas stream along with the first material stream into the Cmaterial stream and the ethylene product stream. A portion of the residual gas stream is recycled to the reactor. A process for producing ethylene using the plant is also described.

Process for production of synthesis gas

The invention relates to a method for processing coke oven gas, said coke oven gas containing hydrogen, wherein the coke oven gas is at least partially integrated into a method for producing dimethyl ether in conjunction with a gas containing carbon monoxide and/or carbon dioxide, whereby a DME-containing product gas is formed.
