A connection fitting for the fastening of elongated bodies, for example of cables ( ) or also hoses, tubes, corrugated hoses and the like, in an opening ( ), which can be a through hole or a boring in a wall ( ) of a building. The connection fitting includes a clamping collet ( ) which, in its operation position, penetrates the opening ( ) and is self expanding behind the opening ( ), and which, by means of an axial retraction opposite to the direction of insertion, is also radially compressible and thus exerts a clamping force on the elongated body. To effect this motion of retraction, a sheath ( ) is provided, which is frictionally connected or force-fit connected with a locking ring ( ), which, by rotational movement of the sheath ( ) itself turns accordingly and, by its own threading, is axially displaced until the ring ( ) abuts the wall ( ) on the opening rim ( ) and remains there in a stop position. In this way, the respective thickness of the wall ( ) is accommodated. A further turning of the sheath ( ) using the frictional coupling with the locking ring ( ) is possible, so that the clamping collet ( ), following the attainment of the stop position of the locking ring ( ), can being tensioning or be further tensioned because of corresponding axial dimensioning of the threading. For the user, it is principally necessary, to turn the sheath ( ) in a uniform direction, in order to activate an adjustment of the connection fitting to the thickness of the wall and to firmly secure the elongated body ( ) with the clamping collet.

Connection fitting with clamping collet for elongated bodies

A connection fitting ( ) for fastening long bodies ( ), such as cables, hoses, or pipes to an opening ( ), for example in a wall ( ) of a housing, has at least one fastening projection ( ) which is divided by slits ( ) opening in the radial and axial direction into abutment tongues ( ). These tongues ( ) have mounting projections ( ) on their free ends projecting radially from the axis of the connection fitting ( ). These abutment tongues ( ) can be deformed radially inwardly of the fastening projection ( ), when the fastening projection ( ) is shoved into the opening ( ), and thereby reach the mounting position behind the edge ( ) of the opening ( ). At a distance from the mounting projections ( ) at least one stop ( ) is arranged, which rests in the use position against the edge ( ) lying opposite the edge ( ) of the opening ( ) engaged behind. A locking device ( ), which in the loosened position is arranged outside of the area of the abutment tongues ( ) and in the use position is arranged to be locking between them and blocking their radial deformation, has an outer threading, and the fastening projection ( ) has an inner threading ( ) fitting therewith. On the fastening projection ( ) there is a carrier stop ( ) for the lock ( ), on which the lock comes to rest in its locking position. The fastening projection ( ) also has an outer threading ( ) opposite in direction from the outer threading ( ) of the lock ( ), which fits into an internal threading ( ) of an opposing piece ( ) that forms the stop ( ). By movement of the lock ( ) into the locking position, the connection fitting ( ) can be braced with its fastening projection ( ) on the opening ( ) and adapted to different thicknesses of the wall ( ).

Connection fitting for fastening long bodies

A connection fitting ( ) for the attachment of oblong structures, for example of cables ( ), hoses, tubes, corrugated hoses or the like, to an opening ( ), in particular, for passing through such an opening ( ) while at the same time being attached is provided. The opening ( ) involves a hole, a drill hole, or other opening in a wall ( ), for example of a housing. The connection fitting ( ) is constructed as a plug-in fitting, i.e. is readily affixed to the opening ( ) by axial insertion into it. For this it has an attachment projection ( ) which is subdivided by axial slits into retaining tongues, which have radially projecting retaining projections ( ) on the outside that extend behind the edge ( ) of the opening ( ) when the attachment projection ( ) is inserted into the opening ( ), such that they yield somewhat radially to the inside during insertion and after being stuck through, automatically move again radially outwardly. By an axial movement of the connection fitting ( ) opposite its plug-in direction, the retaining tongues ( ) can in turn be deformed in the radial direction against the oblong structure or a cable ( ) that is to be affixed and then clamped onto it. Thus, on the outside of the opening ( ), a stopper ( ) is provided so that the connection fitting ( ) is supported on the outside. The sheath that has the stopper ( ) has a support ( ), which extends axially into the opening ( ) and which in the assembly position engages on a partial area of the outside of the retaining tongues ( ) of the attachment projection ( ), and during an axial movement of the attachment projection ( ) and the retaining tongues ( ), impinges a conical or tapering area of the outside of the retaining tongues ( ) in such a way that the retaining tongues ( ) are pressed together in the radial direction so that a contact of the retaining tongues ( ) with the edge ( ) that is engaged behind is avoided or if necessary done with a considerably less force than is applied for a radial deformation of the retaining tongues ( ).

Connection fitting with an attachment projection divided by slits into holding tongues

A mounting ( ) designed for oblong structures such as cables ( ), hoses or the like, which have an electrical shielding sheath ( ), that contains in the usage position of an electrically conducting insert ( ) that has a clamping finger ( ) and creates an electrical connection between the shielding sheath ( ) and the mounting ( ) is provided. The mounting ( ), under certain circumstances merely a wall opening or the like, possibly however also a complete cable screw connection with strain relief for the oblong structure&mdash;has a receptacle opening ( ) for the insertion and guiding through of the oblong structure or cable ( ) and especially also for the reception of the electrically conducting insert ( ), which for its part has a mounting ring ( ) and clamping fingers ( ) that project from it in the axial direction. On the outer side of the electrically conducting clamping fingers ( ) which function for the contact, a projection ( ) extends radially outwardly, at a distance from the free ends ( ) of the clamping fingers ( ), which function as a contact position, and at a distance from the mounting ring ( ) respectively. Through the projection ( ), the clamping fingers ( ) are bent or swung inwardly during the insertion into a correspondingly narrow receptacle opening ( ) by an amount corresponding to the dimension of these projections ( ) and the receptacle opening ( ), and thus make a secure contact on the oblong structure. Mounting for oblong structures with an electrical shielding

An angle-shaped line entrance (,) has two branches (,) and (,) set at angles to each other and functions for the attachment to a wall (,) or a housing in the area of a corresponding hole-shaped opening. In this way, oblong structures, for example, hoses (,) or cables or the like, can be guided and affixed on or through the wall (,), such that the corresponding oblong structures enter into the first branch (,), while the second branch (,) itself is connected to the housing or its wall (,). In the angular area, the two branches (,) and (,) can be swung relative to each other, so that they can also take on an aligned position. Locking in the angular usage position is done by coupling via a movement for the attachment of the oblong structure at least in the first branch (,), in such a way that both movements can be performed with the same activation component.

A connection fitting (,) for attaching tubes, corrugated hoses, pipes, cables or other oblong bodies (,), in an opening or hole (,) of a wall (,), of a housing is provided. In this, the connection fitting (,) has an attachment projection (,) that can be anchored in the opening (,) and has retaining projections (,) located on abutment contact studs (,) formed by axial slots (,) that project radially outwardly across from a constriction. The abutment contact studs (,) and their retaining projections (,) are designed such that they have only a part of their retaining effect after insertion of the attachment projection (,) into the opening (,), i.e. they can be moved out of the opening (,) under a loading opposite to the insertion direction. For a final attachment that is resistant to pulling force and compression, an axially movable and somewhat sheath-shaped lock (,) is provided inside the connection fitting (,) which locks the abutment contact studs (,) with their retaining projections (,) in the usage position against a radially inwardly directed deformation, and in particular additionally pivots them outwardly so that the locking and retaining surfaces (,) of the retaining projections (,) engage behind the edge (,) to a greater extent than in the preliminary mounting position.
