An arrangement is provided for use with an internal combustion engine. The arrangement includes an intake tract for the internal combustion engine and a valve that is fluidly connected to the intake tract. An activated carbon filter is located upstream from the intake tract and the valve. The valve is connected to the carbon filter by an intake line. When the valve is open, fluid can flow from the activated carbon filter into the intake tract. A pressure sensor measures upstream pressure (p) in the intake line. A pump helps generate the pressure (p) in the intake line. The valve is connected to the intake tract so they cooperate together to form a cavity that is connected to the intake line such that when the valve is closed, the pressure in the cavity is the pressure (p).

Arrangement for regenerating an activated carbon filter

An arrangement that is as simple as possible and that has very few lines, has a valve with a base element having a regeneration nozzle in which a regeneration channel is formed, having an outflow nozzle in which an outflow channel is formed, and having a drive flow nozzle in which a Venturi tube is accommodated, whereby the regeneration channel, the outflow channel and the Venturi tube are flow-connected is characterized in that a closeable bypass channel is provided which opens up into the drive flow nozzle and which is configured there in such a way that a fluid that is flowing in through the regeneration channel can be discharged through the Venturi tube as well as through the bypass channel.

A non-return valve includes a valve housing having at least one inlet, at least one outlet, a first valve seat and a second valve seat; and an at least partially flexible sealing member forceable into a scaling engagement with the first valve seat in response to a first differential pressure and forceable into a sealing engagement with the second valve seat in response to a second differential pressure.

A flow connector for a valve, including a body in which a flow channel is formed that is made up of a first port, a second port and an opening area to receive a movable plug, whereby the ports can be flow-connected through the opening area. The valve having a flow connector is configured and refined in such a way that the volume of fluid that flows through the flow channel per unit of time can be set without any problem wherein the cross section surface area of the flow channel in the opening area is configured to be constant along a first height of lift and to be variable along a second height of lift. A solenoid valve includes the flow connector according to an embodiment of the present invention.

A valve includes a housing having an inlet (), an outlet () and a movable sealing member () which allows the inlet () and the outlet () to be connected in fluid communication with each other, the sealing member () having associated therewith effective areas () to which pressure can be applied, and sealing areas (), and the sealing member () further having associated therewith a sealing seat () for sealing the inlet () from the outlet (). In order to provide a valve by which pressure can be relieved in a very short time, the sealing member () has associated therewith a conduit () by which the inlet () and the outlet () can be connected in fluid communication with each other when the sealing member () rests on the sealing seat ().

Valve having a movable venturi nozzle

A measuring device including a Hall sensor arranged in a centrally and axially movable manner in a magnetic tube. Each half of the magnetic tube includes a north and south pole that are diametrically opposed, wherein the north pole on the first half of the tube is also diametrically opposed to the north pole on the second half of the tube, and the south pole formed on the first half of the tube is also diametrically opposed to the south pole on the second half of the tube.

A fuel distributor for a multi-cylinder combustion engine with fuel-injection system, comprising a fuel flow divider having a tubular distributor housing and at least one fuel feed connection as well as at least one fuel return connection. The fuel flow divider has a number of first receiving holes which corresponds to the number of injection valves, and a second receiving hole arranged in the region of an end limitation of the distributor housing. In order to supply fuel to an internal combustion engine having at least two rows of cylinders, one fuel flow divider is used for each row of cylinders, the fuel flow dividers being developed in corresponding manner and being connected to each other in fuel-conducting manner by a connecting line and arranged in series. A pressure regulating valve is arranged in said second receiving hole of one of the two fuel flow dividers and a pressure test connection is arranged in said second receiving hole of the other fuel flow divider.

Fuel distributor for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine

A coupling comprising a first machine element having a recess, a second machine element which can be inserted into the recess and an elastic, U-shaped bracket, adjacent positioning devices being associated with the first and the second machine elements and the bracket having a direction of movement which extends transverse to the direction of coupling and being able to be brought into engagement with the positioning devices. The first machine element has in the region of its positioning devices in the direction of movement of the bracket at least two detents located one behind the other which are arranged in the direction of movement in front of and behind the recess for the second machine element. The bracket is provided in the direction of movement at least at its front end with a lock device which can be brought into engagement with the detents of the first machine element. The bracket can in retracted condition be brought into engagement with the first detent and is then arranged outside the recess.
