A system, method and computer program product for extracting data from an applet are provided. Data from a data page is downloaded to a browser. The data includes an applet written in Java. Additional spy code is added. The spy code is used for interacting with the applet on the browser. Data is extracted from the applet using the spy code. Also, other types of interactions with the applet can be performed using the spy code. A method for extracting data from a browser object is also provided.

System, method and computer program product for automated interaction with and data extraction from Java applets

A system, method and computer program product are provided for the compression of characters with a predetermined size. Initially, a plurality of characters are received. Thereafter, the characters are compressed. Information is stored with the compression. Such information is capable of being used to modify the characters upon the characters being displayed with a predetermined size.
