An electric switch including a stationary contact that is annular. The switch comprises a gastight enclosure, a conductor bar of axis (D), a stationary contact presenting a contact zone of substantially annular shape, a switch element, e.g. on the conductor bar, that is movable in the axial direction of the axis (D) between a first position in which it penetrates in part into the stationary contact to establish electrical contact between the conductor bar and the stationary contact, and a second position in which it interrupts said contact. The stationary contact, which is in the form of a ring that is circular or elongate, such as elliptical, surrounds the conductor bar, at least in part.

A high or medium voltage electrical switch, particularly a GIS type isolating switch with three switching positions and a grounding position, includes a switching element in a closed and sealed enclosure that can be filled with a dielectrically insulating gas, containing a mobile switching element free to move along an axial direction to electrically connect two conducting bars at intervals from each other, and also including a fixed ground contact to be electrically connected to one of the two conducting bars through the switching element when the switch is in the grounding position. The fixed ground contact is offset from the path of the switching element along the axial direction and the switching element forms a Y with a contact pin such that the contact pin and the fixed ground contact engage in each other through displacement of the switching element along the axial direction.

Three-position ground switch

The capacitor of high thermal stability includes a high-voltage electrode (HT) extending in a longitudinal direction (AX), a cylindrical printed circuit (CI) coaxially surrounding said high-voltage electrode and including an electrically conductive track forming a low-voltage electrode (BT), and a frame (CH) having a cylindrical inside surface (SI) coaxially surrounding said cylindrical printed circuit (CI). The printed circuit is slit along a generatrix (G) of the cylinder that it forms and it is rigidly fixed to the inside surface by a fixing point (F, F). The frame includes guide means (A, A) for holding said printed circuit (CI) near the inside surface (SI) whilst allowing it to expand along said inside surface of the frame. This provides a capacitor of high thermal stability and very simple construction which is suitable for carrying out measurements on a gas-insulated high-voltage electrical line.

The three-position, gas-insulated, metal-clad electrical switch inside a metal casing includes first and second break contacts, a fixed grounding contact, and a switching element that is movable in an axial direction to interconnect the break contacts. The first and second break contacts and the fixed grounding contact are superposed in the axial direction, and the switching element is moved by a drive rod which passes through the fixed grounding contact, thereby enabling the switching element to occupy each of the three switching positions including a grounding position in which it connects the first break contact to the fixed grounding contact.

Three-position electrical switch having a switching element that is movable in axial translation

A gas-blast insulated, encapsulated high-voltage switching installation with removable bus bars wherein the switching installation contains components consisting of housings with flanged connections and internal elements secured therein as partitions by means of conical support insulators and forming pressure gas tight compartments and wherein the bus bars contain disconnectors as well as dilatation elements. At each housing of the bus bar component there are provided two oppositely situated connection flanges and in each housing there is arranged an internal conductor element. The internal conductor elements bear against one another and at least a number thereof in their housing are supported by an inwardly directed conical supporting insulator arranged at a connection flange, and wherein the internal conductor elements are mechanically and electrically connectible with one another and each connection location is located beneath a flange connection and each housing contains a pressure gas tight closable mounting opening by means of which the connection location beneath the other free connection flange is accessible.
