A hydraulic machine () comprising a housing () and at least first and second hydraulic units. Each unit comprising a cylinder block (A,B) located in the housing and having pistons (), and a shaft () in rotational engagement with the cylinder block (A,B). The shafts () being arranged coaxially and being coupled so as to rotate together. The machine () further comprising bearings () for supporting the shafts () in the housing (). The shafts () are coupled by corresponding male and female splined end portions (A,A) thereof engaged one in the other, and the bearings () comprise first and second bearings () for respectively supporting the shafts () at portions thereof located on the other sides of the cylinder blocks (A,B) with respect to said splined end portions (A,A). A single third bearing arrangement () engages one of the shafts () at least in the vicinity of the splined end portion (A,A) thereof thereby supporting the shafts () between said cylinder blocks (A,B).

Tandem axial piston pump unit

A hydraulic machine having a housing, a cylinder block located in the housing and having axial pistons slidably movable in cylinders, a shaft rotationally connected to the cylinder block, and a swash plate in load engagement with the pistons of the cylinder block. The swash plate is pivotally mounted in the housing by at least one bearing, such that said swash plate is pivotally adjustable about a kinematic axis to alter a hydraulic displacement of the pistons in the cylinder block. The thrust pistons are located between the swash plate and the housing so as to urge the swash plate toward the cylinder block.

A hydrostatic piston machine having a cylinder block with several cylinders, in which are slidably mounted pistons in load engagement with a reaction member via transmission members, each transmission member is connected to at least one of the piston or the reaction member via a spherical joint comprising a ball recess and a ball pivot comprising a convex spherical surface. The ball pivot has an ending rotational surface which is continuously connected to the convex spherical surface, created by rotating a continuous generating line around the axis of symmetry of the ball pivot, or at least one of the ball recess or the ball pivot has an end wall which is deformable under the loads acting on the spherical joint, so as to provide for an ending rotational surface having a curvature which is different from an initial curvature thereof.

The axial piston machine comprises a case, a shaft and a cylinder block (), arranged so as to rotate in the case and having a plurality of cylinders () with pistons, adapted to slide in said cylinders and connected to piston rods () by means of first spherical joints, the piston rods being connected to a sliding plate () by means of second spherical joints (), said sliding plate () being supported by a swash plate () via a bearing (). For the connection between a piston rod () and the sliding plate (), the machine further comprises a first driving rotational surface () linked to the piston rod () and a corresponding second driving rotational surface () linked to the sliding plate (), a clearance being left between said first driving rotational surface () and said second driving rotational surface () and said surfaces being adjacent.
