Cap can include a cap body mountable to a container. A main bore is disposed in the cap body. A movable component holder can include a lower end, an upper end, and a space sized and configured to contain a dispensable component. A cover is installable on the upper end of the component holder. A removable strip is at least one of arranged between a portion of the upper end of the component holder and an upper surface of the cap body, has an upper end removably connected to a portion of the upper end of the component holder, has a lower end contacting or arranged adjacent a portion of the cap body, and integrally formed with the upper end of the component holder.

Cap assembly for dispensing a dispensable component and method of making and using the same

A dispenser comprises a housing that has a removable tamper proof protective cap and tamper proof ring and is threaded to a container. The container, which is the main package, holds the supplemental component. The housing holds the first component into a plunger type chamber in a fully retracted position and is sealed from the supplemental component. The chamber has a delivery end that is closed before use. When pushed all the way in, the chamber's delivery end becomes open and delivers the first component into the main package.

The present invention provides for a universal safety syringe adapter that allows for a standard syringe, vacuum tube or other medical device to be quickly modified to have a protective sheath which may be deployed automatically upon activation of a release member with a single hand in order to propel the protective sheath from a retracted position to an extended position covering a needle in order to avoid sharps injuries and protect medical or other professionals using the instrument. The present invention also provides for a syringe safety device which includes a protective sheath having an elastic member in order to propel the protective sheath from a retracted to an extended position.
