System and method for terminating instances and autoscaling instance groups of computing platforms. For example, a method includes determining whether an instance of an instance group is identified as eligible for termination. The method further includes, in response to determining that the instance of the instance group is identified as eligible for termination, terminating the eligible instance. The terminating the eligible instance includes, in response to a runtime of the eligible instance being equal to or larger than a predetermined maximum lifetime, terminating the eligible instance. The terminating the eligible instance further includes, in response to the runtime being smaller than the predetermined maximum lifetime, detaching the eligible instance from the instance group to allow a new instance to be associated with the instance group, and in response to the eligible instance being detached from the instance group: waiting for the new instance to be associated with the instance group, and evicting each pod associated with the detached instance. The method is performed using one or more processors.

Systems and methods for autoscaling instance groups of computing platforms

A system with an interactive user interface for users to view and interact with sanitized log data received from a plurality of hosts, such as those associated with various services of an organization. The system may receive from hosts log files and/or metadata that have been filtered by agents executing on the respective hosts to remove or anonymize any sensitive or confidential information prior to transmission to the system. In some embodiments the system does further filtering of the sanitized data. Received sanitized data is parsed, indexed, and/or otherwise processed for optimal searching, and stored in a log pipeline. The system causes display of an electronic visualization interface.

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for network monitoring, user account compromise determination, and user behavior database system. The system monitors network actions of user accounts including user account access across multitudes of network accessible systems, determines user account transitions, and determines different types of high-risk user behavior indicative of compromise. Network actions can be obtained from generated information by the network accessible systems, and correlated across additional data sets including contextual ones. Methods, systems and computer programs are disclosed for managing data bugs in a data processing system comprising one or more data resources. The method may comprise receiving an indication of one or more bugs relating to one or more data resources, and contextual information for the one or more bugs and determining, from the received indication, one or more bug types and grouping the bugs by bug type for the same data resource to produce a aggregated list of open issues requiring fixing. Further operations may comprise presenting the aggregated list of one or more open issues on a user interface for selection, the one or more open issues being selectable, and, responsive to receiving selection of a particular open issue, presenting contextual information for the one or more bugs within the group on the user interface.

Management of software bugs in a data processing system

A remote computing session management process is directed to the execution and management of aspects of virtual instances executed on data center computers at a program execution service (PES) platform. A computing session may be established between the PES platform and a computing device connected to the PES platform over a communications network. The data created by the user of the client computing device interacting with the virtual instance may be stored, and following an interruption of the remote computing session, the data may be used when re-establishing the remote computing session.

A virtual computing environment service may receive a request from a customer to provision a virtual computing environment and join the virtual computing environment to a managed directory. The virtual computing environment service may provision the virtual computing environment and uses a set of administrator credentials from the customer and a set of credentials corresponding to the environment to access the managed directory and request joining of the environment to the managed directory. In response, the managed directory may create a computer account corresponding to the environment and which enables the environment to be used to access the managed directory. The virtual computing environment service may then enable the customer to specify one or more users that may utilize the virtual computing environment to access the managed directory.

Domain join and managed directory support for virtual computing environments

Systems and methods are presented for storing and updating data. The metadata associated with a user computing device may be used to determine whether the user computing device is configured to maintain a synchronized copy of the file. Moreover, a user computing device may be authorized to modify a file through a virtual desktop instance on a PES. If a user computing device is authorized to synchronize the file, the file may be accessible locally without a network connection.
