Provided are methods and systems for collecting telemetry data by a telemetry library within a client device. A system for the collection of telemetry data by a telemetry library within a client device may comprise a client device to initialize the telemetry library. The system may further comprise a processor to contact a configuration server with identifying information specific to the client device to retrieve configuration information. The system may then perform a search using the identifying information, return configuration regular expressions related to the identifying information to the telemetry library, and identify the telemetry data along with a namespace or a scope to which the telemetry data belongs, using a name generated by the telemetry library.

Collection of telemetry data by a telemetry library within a client device

A system for dynamic configuration of telemetry data may comprise a client to place a library call to a configuration server, the library call including identifying information associated with the client. The system may further comprise a processor to receive, from the configuration server, one or more regular expressions for configuration of the telemetry data collected at the client, based on the identifying information, collect, at the client, the telemetry data based on predetermined criteria, match the one or more regular expressions to the telemetry data, based on the match, selectively provide the telemetry data based on the one or more regular expressions to produce filtered telemetry data, and periodically report the filtered telemetry to the server, the filtered telemetry data including or excluding the telemetry data matching the one or more regular expressions.

Systems and methods for mediation of online trading services are provided. Supplemental content related to a content title may be listed in a market or store for content. A client device sends a mediated communication to a trading server; the mediated communication may include mediation data and a request concerning the transfer of supplemental content. A user account associated with the client device is identified and the supplemental content may then be assigned to the user account. A report regarding activity associated with the assignment of the supplemental content may be generated in accordance with mediation data.

Management of online trading services using mediated communications

Systems and methods for mediation of content-related services are provided. A client device playing content may send a request for a service related to the content. Configuration information is generated for the client device, reflecting a set of permissions that are determined based on a market segment of the client device. Once the client device is configured according to the set of permissions, the client device can communicate with a service provider of the requested service. Such communication and any further activity regarding the service is governed by the set of permissions, as is reporting regarding such communication and activity

Mediation of content-related services

A method and apparatus for dynamic Web Service composition is described. A user request is received. Multiple Web Services that may need to be performed according to the user request are identified. A Web Service composition is generated from the multiple Web Services. The Web Service composition is expressed in a business process modeling language that incorporates exception handling.
