An aircraft rotor having a drive shaft, a number of blades extending substantially radially with respect to the shaft, and a constant-velocity transmission connecting the blades to the shaft; the transmission having a hub supported adjustably about a fixed pole, a drive member integral with the shaft, a driven member integral with the hub, and a number of torque transmitters, each connected to a first attachment, carried by the drive member, and to a second attachment, carried by the driven member, by means of a first hinge and a second hinge respectively; the axes of the first hinges and second hinges defining respective planes on opposite sides of and symmetrical with respect to a bisecting plane coincident, in stationary conditions, with the plane of the hub.

Aircraft constant-velocity transmission rotor

A helicopter rotor on which each blade is connected in articulated manner to a center hub by means of a fork, the vertical plane movement of which is limited, below a given speed of the rotor, by a pair of limit rocker arms located between the hub and a ring nut mounted for rotation on the fork and angularly integral with the hub by means of a rod of variable length connected in articulated manner to a slide supported on the hub and arranged substantially horizontally and crosswise in relation to the blade.

Metal hub for a helicopter rotor, on which a metal center element is connected to an outer annular frame for anchoring the rotor blades by use of a number of identical metal spokes connected, at one end, to the center element and each acting, at the other end, as a connecting element for two identical, adjacent metal segments on the outer frame.

A rotor for helicopters, in which a central hub supports a plurality of radial blades connected thereto, each of which blade is provided with a surface rigidly connected to it and able to cooperate with respective abutment elements supported by the hub and movable with respect to this latter in a substantially horizontal plane to limit the oscillations of the respective blade in a horizontal plane between limits which are variable as a direct function of the angular velocity of the rotor itself.

A helicopter rotor hub having a lobed shape defining a plurality of bridge structures each allowing the attachment of a respective blade; each bridge structure is formed of superimposed sections of three annular bands, of synthetic material, the intermediate one of which forms an outer frame extending around the whole of the periphery of the hub, while the other two define one of the said lobes and connect the said outer frame to an inner metal structure.

Helicopter rotor hub

A helicopter rotor in which a central plate-like hub is provided with a plurality of axial apertures uniformly distributed around a central axis of rotation and each defined radially outwardly by a supporting peripheral bridge connected to a respective blade by a U-shape structure extending through the said aperture and coupled to the associated bridge by an elastomeric coupling; each U-shape structure being coupled to a respective radial projection of the hub by a further elastomeric coupling.
