A timepiece includes a timekeeper displaying the hour (4) and the minute (5), a receiver for radio broadcast messages adapted to be read on a display (7) and a control arrangement (2) including a rollerball (1) adapted to be manually rolled in a first direction (Y) for which received messages can be displayed one after the other and in a second direction (X) for which at least the functions of engagement, of disengagement or entry into a special operating mode may be chosen. The timepiece includes a timekeeper displaying hours (4) and minutes (5), a receiver for radio broadcast messages capable of being read on a display (7) and a control arrangement (3) including a stem fitted into a crown (10). The stem-crown can be brought into three different axial positions, a first stable drawn-out position in which the timekeeper may be set to the time of day by rotation of the crown, a second stable neutral position in which received messages may be displayed one after the other by rotation of the crown and a third pushed-in unstable position in which the displayed message can be erased or protected.

A timepiece (4), adapted to be worn on a part of the body, for example on the wrist, is provided with an antenna capable of capturing an electromagnetic field bearing radio-diffused messages. Measurements have shown that when close to the wrist the radial electric component (E.sub.r) and the azimuthal or tangential magnetic component (H.sub..phi.) were predominant. Consequently, in order to capture the first, a capacitive antenna the electrodes of which are parallel to the back cover (2) of the timepiece will be provided and, to capture the second, an inductive antenna including a winding the axis of which is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bracelet (3) will be provided.
