Signage is presented comprising an in-mold plastic plate portion having a slot. The signage has a flexible tongue having a neck portion that extends outwardly from the plate portion and has a locking tip extending from the neck portion and the locking tip is formed to be received by the slot. The plastic plate portion is made of a filler material and a detectable additive such that the signage is easily detected by a metal detecting machine.

Method of making detectable signage

A sign () for viewing by persons in a traffic area accessible by the random passage of persons through the area, the sign () including a label () formed of a thin layer of plastic material upon which the subject matter of the desired sign is printed. A planar substrate () of molded material is fused to the label (). The planar substrate () includes a mounting feature () adapted to secure the sign () to a second object. During manufacture, an injection device () and ejector system () are associated with a first sign mold portion, a label is placed in a second sign mold portion, the first and second sign mold portions are closed together during injection, and the previously formed sign is removed from the first sign mold portion via the ejector system () prior to closing the mold portions together.

Signage construction method and apparatus

A method of manufacturing an injection molded product. Thermoplastic is injected through a runner system and into a gate member. The gate member is generally V-shaped and thermoplastic is displaced through the gate into a mold cavity at a nearly perpendicular angle to the surface of the indicia carrier to hold the indicia carrier against the mold cavity. This allows the indicia carrier to be fused to the thermoplastic body during the making of a product.

Method of manufacturing an injection molded product

A tag has an in-mold graphic plate portion with a slot therein. Extending outwardly from the plate portion is an extension or tongue that has a neck and locking tip. The locking tip has an aperture adapted to receive a lock. The neck of the tongue is flexible such that the locking tip is received by and extends through the slot.

Lock out tag

A pocket former includes an outer barrel having a first rim, a second rim and a frustoconical body portion extending from the first rim to the second rim. A center barrel is connected to the outer barrel and has a proximal lip adjacent the first rim of the outer barrel, a distal lip adjacent the second rim of the outer barrel, and a tubular body portion extending from the proximal lip to the distal lip, and extends beyond both the first rim and the second rim. An annular flange curves out and away from the second rim of the outer barrel. A spiral surface is located on the frustoconical body portion of the outer barrel. A nut surface is located on the tubular body portion of the center barrel adjacent the distal lip.

Pocket former

An overflow protection device includes a valve body having an inlet conduit passing vertically therethrough. The inlet conduit includes an outlet end below a valve chamber. A valve within the valve chamber is movable between and open and closed position. A float is pivotally mounted below the valve and the float cams, an actuator upwardly when the float experiences a less than full tank and cams the actuation downwardly to permit the valve to move downwardly when the float rises to a predetermined level as it floats on the liquid within the tank.

Propane overflow protection valve

A rigid airfoil surface and the exposed portion of the bottom sheet of a stack of flexible sheets in a magazine, form opposite passage walls of a venturi flow passage into which a flow of air is directed from a nozzle member. Collapse of the passage wall formed by the flexible bottom sheet is induced by the static suction pressure created at the throat of the venturi passage resulting in deflection of the exposed portion and separation of the bottom sheet from the stack in preparation for withdrawal by a gripper mechanism.
