The present disclosure relates to a method of generating a surround view of a vehicle platoon and a device thereof. A surround view generating device for a vehicle in the vehicle platoon acquires a local surround view of the vehicle and at least one of a truncated local surround view associated with one or more preceding vehicles and a truncated local surround view associated with one or more following vehicles in the vehicle platoon. Further, the surround view generation device generates a surround view of the vehicle platoon using the local surround view of the vehicle, the truncated local surround view associated with the one or more preceding vehicles, and the truncated local surround view associated with the one or more following vehicles. Finally, the surround view generating device navigates the vehicle in the vehicle platoon based on the surround view of the vehicle platoon.

Disclosed herein is a method and system for counting plurality of objects placed in a region. An image of the region is captured and partitioned into segments based on depth of the plurality of objects. Further, shape of each of the plurality of objects in each object region of each segment is determined and validated based on comparison of the determined shape with predetermined shapes. Finally, count of the plurality of objects of each shape is aggregated for determining count of the plurality of objects in the region. In an embodiment, the present disclosure helps in automatically recognizing and counting the plurality of objects of multiple dimensions and multiple shapes, even when the image of the region includes a distorted/unfavorable background.

The present disclosure is related in general to field of machine learning and image processing and a method and system for handling occluded regions in an image frame to generate surround view. A surround view generating device detects presence or absence of occluded blocks in each image frame received from image capturing devices associated with the vehicle, based on speed and direction of the vehicle. Further, occluded blocks are predicted by mapping the image frames and sensor data of the vehicle with pre-stored image data using a machine learning model. Finally, corrected image frames are generated by stitching the predicted occluded blocks to the image frames, and then a surround view of the vehicle is generated using corrected image frames and the plurality of image frames. The present disclosure enables prediction of occlusions caused due to dust or water depositions on the image capturing devices of non-overlapping field of view.

Method and system for handling occluded regions in image frame to generate a surround view

Disclosed herein are methods and collision avoidance systems and devices for avoiding collision between inspection devices during inspection of an area. In an embodiment, spatial information of the area, dynamically received from each inspection device, is used for creating current local map for each inspection device. Subsequently, a global map of area is generated using local maps and each inspection device is localized within the global map for identifying current location of the inspection devices. Thereafter, sub-paths for navigating each inspection device are estimated based on global map and current location of the inspection devices, validated for collision avoidance and provided to corresponding inspection devices. The inspection devices navigate across the area using the sub-paths and complete inspection of the area. In some embodiments, the present disclosure helps in faster and accurate inspection of the area by inspecting the area using concurrently operated inspection devices.

The present disclosure relates to a method and system for improving application ergonomics in a hand-held device. The application ergonomics is improved by a layout optimizing unit of the hand-held device which detects a touch on the hand-held device and receives one or more signals corresponding to the region of the touch on the hand-held device. The one or more signals received are validated by the layout optimizing unit and usage of at least one hand of both hands is determined based on the validated signals. The layout optimizing unit determines a user interface layout of the hand-held device based on the determined usage to improve the application ergonomics of the hand-held device.

The present disclosure relates to a monitoring device and a method of monitoring drug adherence in a clinical trial. In one embodiment, the monitoring device determines that an authenticated user has consumed the medication comprising the drug and further determines that the authenticated user who has consumed the drug is associated with the corresponding monitoring device. Furthermore, the monitoring device determines that the drug has successfully passed through gastrointestinal (GI) tract of the authenticated user based on analysis of biometric signatures of the GI tract. Based on the determination of valid proximity and successful passing of the medication within the GI tract of the authenticated user, the monitoring device reports that the drug adherence by the user is successful. Thus, the disclosed method and the monitoring device determine that only authenticated user has consumed the medication and not just if the medication has been taken by any person.

The method includes receiving, by a parking space identifier, at least one image frame from an imaging device. The method includes determining one or more bounding boxes indicative of one or more vehicles in the at least one image frame and executing vehicle classification on the detected one or more bounding boxes in the at least one image frame to determine at least one first dimension corresponding to each of the one or more vehicles in the portion of the parking lot. Further the method includes comparing at least one second dimension of space in between pairs of non-overlapping bounding boxes and a predefined threshold corresponding to the vehicle classification and determining the vacant parking space associated with the vehicle classification based on the at least one first dimension and the comparison.

The method comprises receiving at least one image of the environment comprising plurality of users from a capturing device. Then, at least one region of interest of each of the plurality of users is detected in the at least one image. A video plethysmographic waveform is generated by analyzing the at least one region of interest. Further, Peripheral Capillary Oxygen Saturation (SPO) based on the video plethysmographic waveform is determined. Thereafter, oxygen level of the environment is determined by averaging the SPOlevel of each of the plurality of users. The determined oxygen level of the environment is compared with predefined oxygen level of the environment and an appropriate action is performed based on the comparison.

The method comprising identifying a speech signal in a pre-determined time interval associated with the speech signal. The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for authenticating a user. In one embodiment, one or more input and target data samples extracted from a plurality of physiological and movement signals of the user are processed to train one or more regression models. In real time authentication, the input and target data samples are extracted from the plurality of physiological and activity signals and mapped with trained regression models to determine a regression error. Based on the regression error, an appropriate authentication signal is then generated and transmitted to the user. Using dynamically selected multiple input and target data samples for user authentication increases the accuracy of authentication, thereby reducing possibilities of invalid authentication. Further, the power consumed by the sensors and computation load is reduced by dynamically powering up and powering down of the one or more sensors based on their usage during the authentication process.

The present disclosure relates to a method and system for optimally localizing vehicles in a parking environment. The method comprises receiving, by a vehicle localization server, 3D acceleration data of each of one or more vehicles when each of the one or more vehicles passes through one or more bumps in the parking environment. Upon receiving the 3D acceleration data, the vehicle localization server compares the 3D acceleration data with one or more predefined 3D acceleration data to identify the location status of each of the one or more bumps.
