A refrigerator appliance includes a liner defining a compartment and having a back wall. An elongate shelf-support ladder has a web with a first attachment feature. The ladder is attached to the back wall with the web spaced from the interior side. A shelf-support arm has a second attachment feature attached to the first attachment feature of the web such that the arm cantilevers from a front face of the web. A portion of the second attachment feature extends through the web and is received in a space defined between the web and the interior side. A shelf is supported by the arm.

Refrigerator appliance shelving system

An anchor assembly for securing a subcomponent to a refrigerator includes a receiving portion and a cover portion. The receiving portion has a first end configured to engage the subcomponent, a second end defining threads, and tabs extending radially outward at a position that is between the first and second ends. The cover portion has a hub and a skirt extending radially outward from the hub. The hub is configured to engage the second end of the receiving portion via the threads to secure the second portion to the first portion. The skirt is configured to engage a wall and extend about the keyed-orifice. The tabs and skirt are collectively configured to generate a compression force on the wall to secure the anchor assembly to the wall.

Refrigerator appliance subcomponent mounting system

A refrigerator includes a cabinet defining an exterior configured for resting on a surface and an interior and a plurality of feet coupled with the cabinet along a bottom surface thereof. The refrigerator also includes a plurality of load transducers disposed between and in opposing contact with the cabinet and respective ones of the feet. The refrigerator further includes electronic circuitry including a non-transitory computer-readable medium configured to receive a signal corresponding with a gross weight of the cabinet from the plurality of load transducers and to determine the quantity of articles retained within the interior of the cabinet.
