A motor vehicle air conditioning unit, having a housing with at least one air channel arranged therein and with at least one heat exchanger for conditioning the air in the at least one air channel, the housing having at least one first air outlet and one second air outlet, a first air outlet channel being assigned to the first air outlet and conducting air to the first air outlet, and a second air outlet channel being assigned to the second air outlet and conducting air to the second air outlet, a first vane valve and a second vane valve being provided. The first vane valve assigned to the first air outlet channel, and the second vane valve assigned to the second air outlet channel, the first vane valve and the second vane valve being rotatably fixedly connected to a shaft and being rotatable by an actuator driving the shaft.

An air flow control for a ventilation, heating, or air conditioning unit of a motor vehicle, having a housing with a cold air passage with a first inlet opening and with a hot air passage with a second inlet opening. At least one heating heat exchanger is disposed in the hot air passage in order to heat the air in the hot air passage with a mixing chamber for mixing a first partial air flow from the cold air passage and/or a second partial air flow from the hot air passage. The mixing chamber is disposed downstream of the hot air passage and of the cold air passage. A mixing flap substantially closes the first inlet opening. The housing downstream of the mixing chamber has a first outlet opening and at least one second outlet opening for the flowing of air out of the mixing chamber.

An air-conditioning unit of a motor vehicle may include a fan, an evaporator, and a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger may be arranged downstream of the evaporator. The evaporator and heat exchanger may both be arranged in a housing. The air-conditioning unit may also include a first bypass channel bypassing the evaporator. The first bypass channel may be arranged centrally on a side of the evaporator. A width of the first bypass channel may be smaller than a width of the side of the evaporator on which the first bypass channel is arranged.

A flow is able to pass around both heat exchangers along the second flow channel and around only the first heat exchanger along the first flow channel. The flow guidance element projects into a branching region where air inside the system branches at an angle with respect to a face of the second heat exchanger, and the flow guidance element influences such air in the region between the heat exchangers.

Air conditioning system for heating and air conditioning a motor vehicle

Disclosed herein is a mixing element for two air flows intersecting in an air conditioner with a main wall of a mixing region for mixing first and second air flows. The main wall is disposed such that an inflow direction of the first and second air flows into the mixing region run longitudinally with respect to a main extension plane of the main wall. The mixing element includes first and second auxiliary walls of the mixing region, each having a main surface at opposite side edges of the main wall, and disposed such that the inflow direction of the first air flow runs past a side edge of the first auxiliary wall and transverse to the main surface of the first auxiliary wall. The inflow direction of the second air flow into the mixing region runs longitudinally with respect to the main surface of the first auxiliary wall.

The invention relates to an air-diverting element with a flow-optimized contour for an air-conditioning system, in particular of a motor vehicle, which air-diverting element extends approximately perpendicular to an air flow direction. To divert an air flow through approximately 180&#xb0; and at the same time nevertheless prevent pressure losses and disadvantageous acoustic effects, one end of the air-diverting element is adjoined by an approximately parabolic elongation which is situated opposite that side of the air-diverting element which faces away from the air flow direction.
