The present invention relates to adducts between sphybridized carbon allotropes and pyrrole derivatives comprising at least one sulphur atom, and crosslinkable elastomer compositions comprising such adducts. The present invention further relates to tyres for vehicle wheels comprising at least one structural element comprising a crosslinked elastomer material obtained by crosslinking of such crosslinkable elastomer compositions.

The present invention relates to a process for coating fibers containing polar moieties with an adduct between a sphybridized carbon allotrope and a pyrrole derivative, and the coated fibers thus obtained. The present invention further relates to composite materials comprising said coated fibers and the process for the production thereof.

Process for coating fibers containing polar moieties

The present invention relates to a polymer comprising repeating units consisting of a substituted pyrrole ring. In particular, the repeating units consist of substituted pyrrole containing polar groups capable of interacting with carbon allotropes such as carbon nanotubes, graphene or nanographites, in order to improve the chemical-physical characteristics of the allotropes mainly by increasing their dispersibility and stability in liquid media and in polymer matrices. The invention also relates to products of addition of these polymers with carbon allotropes in order to obtain easily dispersible macromolecules.

The present invention relates to a vulcanizable elastomeric composition comprising a secondary accelerator that may be used in combination with sulphenamide alone, completely avoiding the use of a guanidine. Moreover, said accelerator promotes dispersion of the silica in the compound and migrates with difficulty in the elastomeric composition itself. The invention also relates to the use of a vulcanization accelerator for said elastomeric composition, to the associated vulcanization process and to a tyre comprising same.

The present invention relates to a process for the synthesis of molecules that have a pyrrole ring bonded to a diol. In particular, the invention relates to the synthesis of molecules that have the pyrrole ring and a diol derived from serinol by means of a process that does not demand the use of solvents or chemical catalysts. The process consists of a first reaction phase that takes place without any solvents and/or organic diluents, giving rise to an intermediate compound, and a second phase in which the intermediate compound is converted into the required compound by heating the reaction mixture to a temperature ranging from 100&#xb0; to 200&#xb0; C. for an interval in the range of 1 to 500 minutes, or by adding a carbon allotrope or its derivatives.

An adduct consists of derivatives of serinol pyrrole and of carbon allotropes in which the carbon is sphybridized, such as carbon nanotubes, graphene or nano-graphites or carbon black, in order to improve the chemical-physical properties of the allotropes increasing above all their dispersibility and stability in liquid media and in polymer matrices, and a process for preparation of the adduct.
