A double sliding door arrangement cooperating with a double-wide door opening formed in an upright wall. A top header beam extends across and defines the upper extremity of the door opening. A pre-tensioning arrangement mounted on and extending lengthwise of the top header beam causes the header beam to be deflected upwardly into a shallow bowed shape. A support track is fixed to and extends lengthwise of the header beam and horizontally for predetermined distances along and rigidly fixed to the wall adjacent right and left sides of the door opening. Right and left slab doors are supported on and vertically suspended downwardly from said track in sidewardly co-planar relationship, and are movable along said track between closed and open positions. The doors in the closed position vertically load and downwardly deflect the header beam, whereby the initial upwardly bowed shape minimizes outward swinging between opposed inner edges of the doors when in the closed position.

Double sliding door

A floor panel for a raised access floor system, including a shallow metal pan with a bottom wall and a shallow upwardly-opening compartment. The bottom wall has a plurality of first hollow projections projecting upwardly therefrom, which projections adjacent upper ends thereof having sidewardly projecting rib structure. The bottom wall also has a plurality of microfeatures which project upwardly through a lesser extent. The number of microfeatures is substantially greater than the number of projections. The pan side walls and bottom wall are free of openings therethrough. A mass of solidified concrete fills the compartment. The floor panel is supported on a pedestal having a base which has clamping and mounting features integrated thereon for engaging grounding wires and cable management members.

Raised access floor system

A sliding glass door has a pair of rollers mounted adjacent the upper corners, which rollers are cantilevered rearwardly and cooperate with a horizontally elongate L-shaped support track which spans horizontally across the door opening and across an adjacent upright wall panel to enable the door to move into an opened position wherein it overlies the adjacent wall panel. The height of the roller-track arrangement and of the structure defining such arrangement, as it extends across the upper edge of the door opening and the adjacent wall panel, is minimized to provide improved aesthetics.

Sliding door arrangement

A pair of upright wall panels are each provided with a sidewardly spaced pair of generally parallel but inclined guide grooves extending vertically along the outer face of the upright frame edge rails. A connector assembly including a main activator rod having a pair of wedge members threaded thereon in spaced relationship therealong is positioned between the opposed upright edge rails. The wedge members have wedgelike edge flanges which protrude into the grooves of the opposed upright edge rails. Rotation of the activating rod causes the wedge members to simultaneously move relative to the rod in opposite directions to effect gripping engagement with the groove walls to simultaneously effect a drawing together of the edge rails and alignment thereof.

Wall panel edge rail connector arrangement

A corner connector arrangement which joins adjacent upright edges of at least two wall panels for maintaining the panels in angled relationship. The connector arrangement employs a connector post positioned between adjacent panel end edges. Each panel has a connecting bracket provided with outwardly protruding upper and lower flanges which respectively overlap upper and lower ends of the post. The post has suitable openings so that cabling can pass from interiorly of one panel through the post for passage into the interior of another panel. Elongate closure strips are secured to and extend longitudinally along opposite edges of the bracket associated with each panel. The closure strips have cantilevered flanges which are curved similar to and resiliently deflect into engagement with exterior peripheral surfaces on the post to enclose the post and the cabling therein. A separate closer strip that snaps onto the post may be used to enclose the post for two-panel connections.
