Systems and methods for coupling filter elements to at least one flange extending inside a housing are disclosed. In one aspect, a filter system may include a housing having an inlet, an outlet, a first end, a second end, a sidewall extending between the first end and the second end, a longitudinal centerline, and at least one flange extending inside the housing; and a plurality of filter elements located inside the housing, the plurality of filter elements each including an end shaped to couple directly to the at least one flange.

Filter system

An air pre-cleaner spin tube includes a vaned inlet section including an inlet flange, and an outer tube inlet portion including an outer wall forming a nozzle that defines a radial direction, and a longitudinal axis. Also, a central stem is disposed in the nozzle, and a plurality of vanes extends from the central stem to the outer wall.

Air pre-cleaner spin tube

An air cleaner for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The air cleaner may include a housing defining an interior and having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The housing may include an air inlet configured to be fluidly coupled to an air intake of the internal combustion engine and an air outlet configured to be fluidly coupled to a compressor of the internal combustion engine. The housing may include a general cylindrical shaped section extending from the first end and an inverse taper section located distally from the generally cylindrical shaped section and extending towards the second end. A diameter of the inverse taper section may increase from a first end towards the second end.

Radial air cleaner

A filter system may include a filter housing and a filter. The filter may include layers of impermeable material. Additionally, the filter may include at least one first layer of corrugated filter media situated between layers of the impermeable material. The at least one first layer may at least partially define a first plurality of flutes extending from a first side of the filter to a second side of the filter. The filter may also include at least one second layer of corrugated filter media situated between layers of the impermeable material. The at least one second layer may at least partially define a second plurality of flutes extending from a third side of the filter to a fourth side of the filter. The housing may be configured to direct a first fluid into the first side of the filter, and direct a second fluid into the third side of the filter.

Fluid filtering system

A filter element may include filter media having an elongated hollow passage extending along a longitudinal axis and between a first end and a second end, with the filter media having an exterior surface. The filter element may also include first and second fins associated with and extending radially from the exterior surface of the filter media. The filter media may include a first filtration zone extending partially around the hollow passage and between the first fin and the second fin, with the first filtration zone being associated with a first portion of the filter media. The filter media may also include a second filtration zone extending partially around the hollow passage and between the first fin and the second fin, with the second filtration zone being associated with a second portion of the filter media.

An air filter assembly for use with a plenum having an internal passage with a non-linear configuration comprising is provided. The air filter assembly includes a support assembly including a neck portion that is insertable into the internal passage in the plenum and a mounting face. The air filter assembly includes an air filter with a filter frame supporting a filter media. The filter frame has an annular mounting flange extending around a perimeter of an inlet side of the filter which is configured to be releasably connectable to the mounting face of the support assembly. An outlet side of the filter includes a plurality of planar sections that extend at non-90&#xb0; angles relative to each other and that are configured to be complementary to the internal passage of the plenum.
