A portable rod holder assembly includes a crate and a bucket positionable in the crate for transporting the bucket. A lid is positionable on the bucket for closing the bucket and a cushion is applied to the lid to be set upon by a user. A frame is pivotally attached to the crate and the frame is positionable in a stored position or a deployed position. A plurality of fishing rod holders is each attached to the frame to hold fishing rods. A carrying member is attached to and extends upwardly from the crate and A pair of shoulder straps is each of the pair of shoulder straps is coupled between the carrying member and the crate for wearing over a respective one of the user's shoulders to carry the crate and the frame and the bucket on the user's back in the convention of a backpack.

Portable rod holder assembly

A camping bag is provided having a main holding volume with specialized compartments, and a carrying strap. The main holding volume is closed by a dual cover: a waterproofed zippered sealing end flap; and a clamped sealing side flap. The compartmentalized interior provides containment for small handheld electronic devices. A USB port is further provided that can be used to charge a portable electronic device while being stored within the main compartment. The outside of the side flap includes outwardly directed solar panel that provides a lightweight charging source that will ensure remote charging capabilities. A telescoping flexible light attached to the exterior of the bag can provide positionable task lighting. A refrigerator includes a refrigerator cabinet, a refrigerator compartment disposed within the refrigerator cabinet, a freezer compartment disposed within the refrigerator cabinet, and a battery. There is at least one fan disposed within the refrigerator cabinet and electrically connected to the battery. The battery powers the at least one fan during a power outage to thereby circulate air from the freezer compartment to the refrigerator compartment. The at least one fan may be a direct current operated fan. The refrigerator may also include an inverter and the at least one fan may then be an alternating current operated fan electrically connected to the inverter. The battery may be disposed within the refrigerator cabinet or may be external to the refrigerator cabinet.

Extended cold (battery backup) refrigerator

A microprocessor speed control system for a refrigeration apparatus for controlling a speed of at least one variable speed motor is provided. The control system has an input for receiving demands to vary a speed of the motor and a memory where certain predetermined speed ranges are kept in a means for preventing the motor from being operated at the predetermined speed ranges. The predetermined speed ranges can be based upon speed ranges which cause excessive noise or vibration in the refrigeration appliance or any of its components.

Motor control for refrigeration appliance

A field installable service kit is disclosed for foamed in place refrigerator stile heaters that do not provide adequate heat around the front of the cabinet, to prevent external condensation under hot and humid conditions. The kit includes a transformer which is mounted on the back of the refrigerator by a service technician and connected directly in line with the stile heater wire connection. The transformer steps up the voltage from approximately 115 volts to approximately 160 volts, thereby approximately doubling the wattage on the resistance heater wire.

A refrigerator cabinet includes an outer shell having a transverse flange terminating in a channel generally parallel with the flange and opening transversely inwardly. A flange reinforcement assembly includes four corner brackets spot welded rearwardly of the channel, and two reinforcement bars. An adhesive material is disposed between the reinforcement bars and the rear of the channel to adhere the same and to comprise the sole means for retaining the reinforcement bars to the cabinet.

A rotary compressor having a blade slidably carried in a slot in a rotor within the compression cylinder. The opposite ends of the blade are in contact with the cylinder walls at all times, notwithstanding the nonsymmetrical configuration of the cylinder bore. The nonsymmetrical configuration arises from the addition of a cycloidal cam function to the bore equation in the first quadrant and the subtraction thereof from the bore equation in the third quadrant. The cylinder contour resulting from the provision of the cycloidal cam function provides increased operating efficiency in the rotary compressor and allows the length of the transfer slot thereof to be reduced or eliminated so as to reduce recompression volume of the compressor.
