A protective jacket for enclosing a portable computer device in accordance with one example included an electronic reader to receive an electronic device, and a cover movably attached to the jacket. The cover is to the electronic reader when the cover is in a closed position and to function as a kickstand to support the device in a plurality of viewing angles when the cover is in an open position.

Examples disclosed herein relate to an alternating current (AC) adapter. In one example, an AC adapter includes an adapter head with an arm extending from a first side of a surface of the adapter head towards a centerline of the first surface of the adapter head to secure a cable to the first surface of the adapter head. A housing body is coupled to the adapter head. The arm is deformable to be biased towards a first position to secure the cable between the arm and the first surface of the adapter head and flexed to a second position to allow an operator to insert the cable between the arm and the first surface of the adapter head.

Example implementations relate to a protective case with a barcode scanner. For example, the protective case may include a housing with a cavity to house a computing device. The housing may include a display portion to allow a screen of the computing device to be exposed, a back portion opposite the display portion, and a scanning sidewall perpendicular to and between the display portion and the back portion. The protective case may also include a barcode scanner to scan a barcode from the scanning sidewall.

A protective jacket for a portable computing device in accordance with one example includes a strap removably attached to the jacket by a pair of attachment members. The strap includes a plurality of holes and the jacket includes a pair of connectors. The pair of attachment members is coupled to the pair of connectors via the plurality of holes, to removably attach the strap to the jacket.
