The invention relates to a kit of parts attachable to a substrate, said kit of parts having an elongated, electric conductive bracket extending along an axis and attachable to the substrate in an electrically grounded connection thereto. The kit of part further includes a modular housing having a base mountable onto the bracket, a cover mounted onto the base, the cover and the base enclosing a chamber, and a plate-shaped, axially extending, elongated electric conductive carrier provided inside the chamber and in electrically grounded connection to the bracket. The invention further relates to a modular housing suitable for use in the kit of parts, a street pole having said kit of parts, and a method for mounting a modular housing.

Kit of parts, modular housing, street pole and mounting method

An elongated, indirect lighting module comprising a plurality of LEDs arranged along a longitudinal axis in a housing provided with a mounting element having an elongated shape in axial direction. The elongated lighting module further comprising suspension elements for suspended connection of the housing to a ceiling. Each suspension element has at a first end a first connector connected to the mounting element, and at a second, opposite end a second connector for connection to the ceiling. The suspension element via its first connector is displaceable along the longitudinal axis over the mounting element, and the LEDs are configured to issue light into a radial direction essentially away from both the mounting element and the suspension element and for a major part toward the ceiling.

A light emitting device () comprising a longitudinal direction, a longitudinal axis (L) extending in the longitudinal direction, a transversal direction, a transversal axis (T) extending in the transversal direction, a height direction being perpendicular to both the longitudinal direction and the transversal direction and a height axis (H) extending in the height direction, a sleeve () extending in parallel with the longitudinal axis and comprising a first part () made of a transparent or translucent material, a second part () made of a diffuse material, and a channel () extending in parallel with the longitudinal axis and being provided in the first part of the sleeve, a reflector () comprising a cavity () extending in parallel with the longitudinal axis, a substrate (), and a plurality of LEDs () adapted for, in operation, emitting light, and being arranged on the substrate () in such a way as to extend in a direction parallel with the longitudinal axis of the light emitting device, the substrate () with the plurality of LEDs () mounted thereon being arranged in the channel () of the sleeve (). The cavity () is adapted for receiving any one of the first part () and the second part () of the sleeve, and the sleeve () being adapted for being mounted in the reflector () by inserting any one of the first part and the second part into the cavity such as to obtain either a spotty lighting effect or a diffuse lighting effect.

Light emitting device with a LED strip

The invention relates to an illuminant () and a socket () for a lamp (). The features of the socket () can be implemented also independently of the features of the illuminant (). The illuminant () has a preferably planar illumination surface (). One or more semiconductor lighting elements are arranged within an illuminant housing (). The illuminant connection device () required for mechanical and electrical connection to the socket () is provided on the rear face () of the illuminant (), said rear face () lying opposite the illumination surface (). The dimensions of the illuminant are preferably greater than the dimensions of the socket () such that the illuminant () fully covers the socket when looking onto the illumination surface (), resulting in a particularly appealing look. Said socket and illuminant () modularly achieve large total illumination surfaces in a lamp () and an appealing overall appearance in a very simple manner.

OLED illuminant for a lamp

The invention relates to an illuminant () and a socket () for a lamp (). The features of the socket can be implemented also independently of the features of the illuminant (). The socket has supply terminal areas on multiple sides of the socket housing such that the socket () can be selectively supplied with electricity and wired from different sides or also simultaneously from multiple sides. Independently of the number and the arrangement of the supply terminal areas (), multiple electrical supply terminals () having the same polarity are provided on the socket (). Said supply terminals () having the same polarity are electrically short-circuited by means of a shorting connector (), in particular two identical shorting connectors () being arranged in the socket housing. Said socket () and illuminant () modularly achieve large total illumination surfaces in a lamp () and an appealing appearance in a very simple manner.

The invention relates to a lighting device including a plurality of light emitting tiles. Each light emitting tile has at least one interface, which is adapted for signal transmission. By adding a connection element in between two neighboring interfaces of two neighboring light emitting tiles, the two light emitting tiles are connected in a daisy chain bus system. The daisy chain bus system is adapted for transmitting signals, the signals being indicative of power and/or color of each light emitting tile.

The invention relates to an OLED device () comprising a light emitting layer stack () on top of a substrate () encapsulated by an encapsulating cover (), where at least the edges of the substrate () and the encapsulating cover () are covered with a protection cover () made of a moldable material and to an OLED system () comprising at least one OLED device () and at least one electronic board () connected to the at least one OLED device () by suitable connectors (), preferably further comprising a cooling body () thermally connected to the OLED device (). The invention further relates to a method to manufacture an OLED device () or an OLED system () comprising the step of applying a protection cover () to the OLED device () or the OLED system () by a plastic molding technique to at least partly cover the OLED device () or the OLED system ().

The body () comprises a first portion of transparent material and is provided with embedded optical and other elements () and a pattern of conductorsused for interconnection and electrical contacting of the elements (). The first portion constitutes a light path from the optical elements () to either other opto-electronic elements or electro-optical elements embedded in the body () or present at a surface thereof. The electro-optical element is for instance a liquid-crystalline display () and the optical elements () are for instance light-emitting diodes, which are used for backlighting the display (). The body () has a three-dimensional shape derived from its application and is preferably fitted for mechanical attachment of external components, that together constitute a device ().

Body and an electronic device

The electronic device comprises a body () of electrically insulating material that is provided with a through-hole or cavity. In the cavity or through-hole an electric component () is present. This component is attached to the body through an attachment layer (). The surface of this attachment layer is provided with a pattern of electrical conductors for electrically coupling the component to other components and/or contact means for external coupling. At least one of which electrical conductors extends to a surface of the body.
