Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an apparatus, method and system for physical, pre-action, extremity and related spinal cord, brain stem and neural therapies. An apparatus according to the present disclosure can include: a computing device configured to convert an input control action into a simulation instruction, wherein the input control action is provided by an input device; at least one simulated extremity operatively connected to the computing device and configured to simulate at least one modeled human anatomical movement based on the simulation instruction, wherein the at least one modeled human anatomical movement is distinct from the input control action; and a feedback device operatively connected to the computing device and configured to transmit a sensory response, wherein the sensory response is based on the modeled human anatomical movement.

Apparatus, method, and system for pre-action therapy

Methods and systems for pre-action training are described. In an aspect, a method is presented for constructing a user-controllable image comprising obtain anatomical and physiological data associated with a body, storing the anatomical and physiological data in a database; and creating the user-controllable image based on the stored anatomical and physiological data. At least a moveable portion of the user-controllable image may be constructed to move based on input from a user. Victims of stroke, TBI, or other neurological setbacks may pre-train their nervous system for use of one or more injured body parts. The methods and systems described provide pre-action training control of non-virtual prostheses, exoskeleton body parts, powered orthotic devices, robots or other motile or audiovisual output devices used to improve therapy, rehabilitation, and in some circumstances to lessen or prevent blood clots. Therapy may be remotely delivered.

The computer device is configured to display to a user at least one virtual body part that represents a corresponding body part portion of the user requiring improvement. The virtual body part(s) is shown in a first configuration on the display device. The computer device receives user input that causes the virtual body part(s) to move in a user-directed motion. The computer device displays the user-directed motion of the virtual body part to a second configuration based on the user input. The user repeats the user input to cause improvement of physical motor control of the corresponding body part of the user.

According to one embodiment, at least two coordinates are received for each of a plurality of points identifying a configuration of landmarks in a fetal image, and any of the received coordinates of any of the plurality of points are utilized as markers to assess fetal abnormality. According to another embodiment, at least two coordinates are received for each of a plurality of points identifying a configuration of landmarks in a fetal image, and one or more values resulting from a linear combination of any of the received coordinates of any of the plurality of points are utilized as markers to assess fetal abnormality.
