A bed step stool for assisting a user into and out of bed comprising a first support; a second support; a wheel assembly coupled to a side of the bed step stool; a step assembly supported between the first support and the second support and enabling the user to step thereon for assisting the user into and out of the bed; wherein the bed step stool includes a first orientation where the bed step stool is stabilized on the surface and the wheel assembly coupled to the side of the bed step stool is out of the way, and a second orientation where the bed step stool is tilted towards the side and is supported by the wheel assembly coupled to the side of the bed step stool, allowing rolling movement of the bed step stool on the surface via the one or more wheels of the wheel assembly.

A bed step stool for assisting a user into and out of bed including opposite sides, a head, and a foot, comprising a first support to be disposed closer to the head of the bed; a second support to be disposed closer to the foot of the bed; wheels configured to allow the bed step stool to roll on a surface; a step assembly supported by the wheels and supported between the first support and the second support, the step assembly to enable the user to step thereon for assisting the user into and out of the bed; a seat assembly disposed above the step assembly, the seat assembly configured to be moved between a deployed position where the user can rest thereon and a stored position.

A bed step stool for assisting a user into and out of bed comprises a first support to be disposed closer to a head of the bed; a second support to be disposed closer to a foot of the bed; a step assembly supported between the first support and the second support; a ramp coupled to the step assembly; the step assembly to enable the user to step thereon for assisting the user into and out of the bed, wherein the first support and the second support define an unobstructed pathway for entry and exit with respect to the bed and the bed step stool that is perpendicular with respect to the sides of the bed whereby the user goes between the first support and the second support, up the ramp, onto the step assembly, and off the step assembly without any obstruction.

A step stool comprising a first support to be disposed closer to a first end of a bed or bathtub; a second support to be disposed closer to a second end of the bed or bathtub; a step assembly supported between the first support and second support, the step assembly to enable the user to step thereon for assisting the user into and out of the bed or bathtub from a side, wherein the first support and second support define an unobstructed pathway for entry and exit with respect to the side and the step stool that is perpendicular with respect to the side whereby the user goes between the first support and second support to step onto and off of the step assembly without any obstruction; and folding mechanisms operably coupling the first support and second support to the step assembly to enable the step stool to be folded.

A method of using a bathtub step stool to get into a bathtub comprises gripping at least one support of a bathtub step stool; stepping onto a step assembly of the bathtub step stool, towards an entry side of the bathtub; turning towards one of supports; while gripping one of the supports, stepping over the entry side of the bathtub and into the bathtub.
