An inner half-ring of a spherical plain bearing has a spherical outer surface, a cylindrical inner surface, and a first flat front face and a second flat front face delimiting the half-ring in a circumferential direction. The first and second flat front faces extend between the outer surface and the inner surface, and a first central groove is formed in the first front face and extends between the outer surface and the inner surface.

Inner half-ring for a spherical plain bearing

A spherical ball joint having an inner ring and an outer ring that cooperate by way of respective truncated spherical contact surfaces, the inner ring having a central bore with a cylindrical bore portion. The spherical ball joint includes a cylindrical sleeve mounted securely in the cylindrical bore portion, the sleeve configured to be mounted around a shaft, the sleeve being made of a wear-resistant material different from that of the inner ring.

A bearing assembly having cylindrical rolling elements, an inner ring, an outer ring, and a plurality of cylindrical rolling elements arranged radially between the internal raceway and external raceway. The inner ring includes an annular shoulder that protrudes with respect to the internal raceway, a fillet in the form of a circular arc being defined between the annular shoulder and internal raceway. The outer ring has an annular shoulder that protrudes with respect to the external raceway, the annular shoulder of the outer ring being housed axially between the annular shoulder of the inner ring and the cylindrical rolling elements. The annular shoulder of the outer ring is provided with an annular chamfer in the immediate vicinity of the fillet defined on the inner ring.

Bearing assembly having cylindrical rolling elements

A roller bearing having a first race, a second race, the races being coaxial and in relative rotation about a central axis, and a row of rollers. The first race including a circumferential groove disposed on a surface radially opposite the first bearing track, and at least one hole traversing the race substantially radially and opening out close to the first bearing track. The first race also provides a secondary groove extending in a substantially radial direction and connecting the circumferential groove to the hole. As such, it is possible for lubricant to be transferred from the circumferential groove to the hole via the secondary groove.
