A packing section intended to be installed in a casing so as to form a gas/liquid separation column may include a block for treating a fluid that has a generally cylindrical shape extending along a longitudinal direction, the treatment block being formed by a stack of plates for treating the fluid along the longitudinal direction, the treatment block having a first disc-shaped face and a second disc-shaped face that each extend in planes parallel to one another, the treatment block having an external face extending over the perimeter of said treatment block between the first disc-shaped face and the second disc-shaped face, the packing section having at least one element for holding the treatment block that extends at least partially around the external face of the treatment block, the holding element having a portion for holding the treatment plates of the treatment block in position.

Packing section for a gas/liquid separation column

A casing having at least one tubular wall extending in a longitudinal direction (L) between two longitudinal ends, and an inner face that participates in delimiting a receptacle for a section of packing, the tubular wall participating in delimiting an input opening at one of its longitudinal ends The casing can also include a device configured to assist installation of a section of packing in the casing, which can include: a cradle which extends in an extension of at least part of the tubular wall from the input opening, in the longitudinal direction, opposite the base wall, the cradle being configured to position the section of packing facing the input opening; a removable cone which is configured to guide the section of packing by centring the section of packing on the input opening, wherein the longitudinal dimension of the cradle is larger than the longitudinal dimension of the removable cone.

A casing intended to be equipped with at least one section of packing for a gas/liquid separation column includes at least a tubular wall extending along a longitudinal direction between two longitudinal ends and an internal face of which contributes to delimiting a housing for the section of packing, the tubular wall contributing to delimiting, at one of its longitudinal ends, an entry opening, the casing including an end wall located at the opposite longitudinal end to the entry opening, the casing including at least a first hooping device and at least a second hooping device which are positioned around the tubular wall of the casing in contact with an external face of the tubular wall, the first hooping device including at least one zone of connection with a movement system for the moving of the casing, the second hooping device having a longitudinal dimension shorter than a longitudinal dimension of the first hooping device.

A process for installing a section of packing in a casing by means of a device to assist installation of a section of packing, the casing comprising at least one tubular wall extending in a longitudinal direction (L) between two longitudinal ends, and an inner face of which participates in delimiting a receptacle for the section of packing, the casing being positioned horizontally during the process for installing the section of packing, the process comprising a step of fitting of the device to assist installation on the casing, during which the device to assist installation is secured in the vicinity of the input opening of the casing, a step of positioning of the section of packing relative to the device to assist installation and to the input opening, and at least one step of pushing during which the section of packing is pushed into the receptacle of the casing.

The invention relates to a gas/liquid separation column extending mainly along a vertical axis and comprising an external wall delimiting an internal space in which are arranged at least one first contact member in which the liquid and the gas are brought into contact and at least one dispensing device configured to collect the liquid resulting from the first contact member and to distribute it to a second contact member. At least one box for separating a two-phase fluid is arranged in the internal space of the column between the first contact member and the dispensing device against the wall of the column fed by a duct which passes through a wall of the separation box.
