An air conditioning unit comprising a bracket configured to be coupled to a sill of an opening between a first and second environment, the bracket comprising a pivot arm configured to be disposed and extending within the first environment. The bracket is configured to have a first unit positioned on top of the bracket; have the first unit moved on top of the bracket onto the pivot arm; and have the pivot arm and first unit rotated downward so that the first unit is disposed in the first environment and extending downward below the sill of the opening to cause one or more pivot arm guide slots of the pivot arm to rotate from a first configuration to a second configuration.

The cross-flow heat exchanger array includes a plurality of planar membrane heat exchangers disposed in parallel with a space separating adjacent planar membrane heat exchangers. Each of the planar membrane heat exchangers include a first sheet; a second sheet coupled to the first sheet; and at least one fluid chamber defined by the first and second sheets, with the at least one fluid chamber extending between first and second ends of the planar membrane heat exchangers and opening to a first and second port at the first and second ends respectively.

Heat exchanger array system and method for an air thermal conditioner

An actuator assembly that includes an angled bottom plate having an opposing first side face and second side face; a first set of one or more inflatable actuators engaging the first side face of the angled bottom plate; and a second set of one or more inflatable actuators engaging the second side face of the angled bottom plate. The first and second sets of inflatable actuators are configured to be separately fluidically inflated.

Fluidic actuator system and method

A method of installing an air conditioning unit in an opening. The method includes securing a bracket to a sill of the opening between a first and second environment where the bracket has a pivot arm disposed and extending within the first environment. The method also includes positioning a first unit of the air conditioning unit on top of the bracket; moving the first unit on top of the bracket onto the pivot arm; and rotating the pivot arm and first unit downward so that the first unit is disposed in the first environment and extending downward below the sill of the opening.

A method of manufacturing a heat exchanger array that includes stacking a plurality of heat exchanger units in an aligned configuration with respective first ports of the plurality of heat exchanger units aligned. The method can further include generating heat in the first coupling elements at the same time and at a temperature sufficient to generate a first plurality of respective couplings between adjacent sheets of adjacent heat exchanger units about adjacent first ports and without a coupling being generated between the first and second sheets of a given heat exchanger unit.

A method of manufacturing a heat exchanger array that includes stacking a plurality of heat exchanger units in an aligned configuration with respective first ports of the heat exchanger units aligned. The heat exchanger units can include a first and second sheet coupled together to define an cavity between the first and second sheets; the first port at a first end of the heat exchanger unit defined by the first and second sheets; and a second port at a second end of the heat exchanger unit defined by the first and second sheets.
