A vertical actuator drive having gravity compensation has a first subassembly and a second subassembly, one of the two subassemblies being stationary and the other of the two subassemblies being movable in the vertical direction. The first subassembly has a first magnetic yoke provided with a coil, and the second subassembly has a second magnetic yoke provided with at least one magnet which is oriented toward the coil. A horizontal gap between the first and second magnetic yoke in the region of the at least one magnet is variable in the vertical direction, so that a reluctance force acts between the first and second subassemblies in an operating range of the actuator drive, the reluctance force opposing the weight force of the movable one of the two subassemblies.

A planar motor includes a flat base element arranged in a plane, and substantially cuboidal first magnets arranged on the base element whose magnetization is perpendicular to the plane and which are arranged at evenly spaced intervals and with alternating polarity in a first direction and in a second direction. The planar motor also includes substantially cuboidal second magnets whose magnetization is parallel to the plane and which are disposed with alternating polarity in the first direction and second direction between the first magnets, so that each first magnet is surrounded by four second magnets. The first magnets are disposed on protrusions of the base element.

A synchronous motor includes multiple coil segments, each of which has an iron core in the form of a core stack that is wound with a coil. The coil segments are characterized in that the coils press fastening elements having at least two legs against two opposite surfaces of the substantially right parallelepiped iron core. In each case, at least one leg of the fastening element abutting against the iron core is pressed against the iron core, and at least one free leg of the fastening element projects away from the iron core. The free legs are fastened to connecting elements that connect multiple coil segments to one another.

A vertical actuator has a stationary part that includes an upper part made of magnetic material which is magnetically separated from a yoke which bears a coil. The upper magnetic part generates an overall reluctance force on the movable part of the actuator which, over the entire functional range of the actuator, is slightly greater than the gravitational force. When the coil is not energized, the movable part has a position of stable equilibrium which is in the upper section of this functional range.
