A rolling-element bearing includes first and second concentric ring assemblies mounted for relative rotation. The first ring assembly includes a first rolling ring and a first sealing ring supporting first and second seal elements each having a lip. The second ring assembly includes a second rolling ring and a second sealing ring contacted by the lips of the first and second seal elements. The first sealing ring includes a first sealing member radially spaced from the first seal element and a first leakage test channel having an inlet between the first sealing member and the first seal element and an outlet at an external surface of the first sealing ring, and/or the second sealing ring includes second and third sealing members and a second leakage test channel having an inlet between the second and third sealing members and an outlet at an external surface of the second sealing ring.

A rolling-element bearing includes first and second concentric ring assemblies. The first ring assembly has a first rolling ring and a first sealing ring abutting axially at a joint, and the first sealing ring supports a first seal element and a second seal element located axially between the first sealing element and the first rolling ring. The second ring assembly has a second rolling ring and a second sealing ring mounted axially at a joint, and rolling elements support the ring assemblies for relative rotation. The first and second seal elements have lips in contact with the second sealing ring, and the lips delimit a first chamber between the first and second sealing rings. The first lip and the second lip extend obliquely toward each other, and a first purging channel extends from the first chamber to an external surface of the first ring assembly.

A rolling bearing providing a first ring and a second ring capable of rotating concentrically relative to one another, at least one row of rolling elements arranged between first and second raceways of the first and second rings, and at least one seal provided with at least one sealing lip. The first ring includes at least one first rolling ring having the first raceway and a first sealing ring secured to the first rolling ring. The second ring further includes at least one second rolling ring having the second raceway and a second sealing ring secured to the second rolling ring. The bearing also further includes a sealing module reversibly secured to the first and second sealing rings.

The bearing includes a first ring, a second ring, at least one row of radial and axial rolling elements arranged between axial and radial raceways provided on the rings. The second ring has a protruding nose engaged into an annular groove of the first ring and provided with the axial raceway and with the radial raceway of the second ring. The bearing further provides at least one cage for maintaining the row of axial rolling elements and at least one flange for guiding and maintaining the cage in radial direction. The flange axially abuts against a flat surface of the second ring. The bearing further includes a plurality of fixing screws to secure the flange to the second ring, the fixing screws extending axially through the flange.

A bearing provides a first ring and a second ring capable of rotating concentrically relative to one another, and at least one seal provided with at least one sealing lip. The bearing further includes a sealing module providing a carrier reversibly secured to the first ring, the seal being mounted radially into contact with the carrier, a friction ring reversibly secured to the second ring, the sealing lip of the seal coming into contact with the friction ring, and at least one spacing element axially interposed between the friction ring and the second ring.

An encoder system mounted on a large diameter bearing, the large diameter bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring, the encoder system providing a tensioning assembly mounted in a pre-machined portion of the inner ring, the tensioning assembly including a first tensioning part having a first machined recess and a first groove, and a second tensioning part having a second groove, the second tensioning part conforming in size and shape to the first recess and disposed within the first machined recess. The tensioning assembly is centered and fixed on to the inner ring. A cage segment for a bearing rotatable around an axis of symmetry that defines an axial direction and able to receive a plurality of rolling elements and having an inner and outer walls that extend circumferentially in the form of a of cylinder. A plurality of radial beams extend globally radially with respect to the axis and connecting the inner and outer walls. Each axial radial beam having a central portion and two end portions that are opposite with respect to the central portion. The central portion being symmetrical with respect to a plane of symmetry. The plane of symmetry of the at least one end portion cooperating with a rolling element to center the segment, forms with the plane of symmetry of the central portion an angle which is not equal to zero.

A plug assembly for use in a rolling bearing comprising at least a first ring, at least one second ring, and at least one row of rolling elements arranged between the rings. The first ring is provided with an opening for inserting rolling elements into a space between raceways or for taking rolling elements out of the space between the raceways for assembly and maintenance. The plug assembly comprises a plug configured to close the opening when the bearing is operating. The plug includes an inner end face facing the rolling elements and an outer end face opposite to the inner end face. The bearing can further comprise a protective cap shielding the outer end face of the plug from a corrosive environment of the bearing.
