The method also includes executing, by the sending entity, a corresponding rate matching step, for each transport channel, by puncturing or repeating at least one bit of the input block on a basis of the final size of the output block; and multiplexing the output blocks on the multiplexing frame.

The sending entity performs a rate matching between the various qualities of service, on completion of which the various qualities of service are multiplexed. The matching rate specific to each quality of service is determined on the basis of a first parameter (E ) representative of the ration Eb/I and of a second parameter (P ) representative of the maximum puncture rate specific to the quality of service considered.
