Pump module for printing machine

A continuous inkjet printer includes an ink circuit. A first part of the ink circuit includes hydraulic components for providing a print head of the CIJ printer with ink and solvent. A second part of the ink circuit includes a first single-block assembly including at least part of at least a first pump and a second single-block assembly including at least one filter. Each of the assemblies further includes: a housing having at least one fluid inlet and at least one fluid outlet; fluid connections to allow fluids to flow from the at least one fluid inlet, to the at least part of a first pump or said filter and then to the at least one fluid outlet; and a structure for mounting and disassembling the first single-block assembly and the second single-block assembly to and from the first part of the ink circuit, independently from each other.

Ink circuit with several modular units

A device for introducing and maintaining a cartridge in a CIJ-type inkjet printer comprises a first support having two lateral sides, a back side and a front opening, this first support able to contain a cartridge and the back side having a fluidic connector. A second support, called the cartridge support, against which a cartridge can be maintained, can be actuated in rotation about a first axis of rotation extending between the two lateral sides of the first support between a position for loading and unloading a cartridge and a position for connecting a cartridge to the fluidic connector. The second support is, in the position for connecting, contained within the first support and comprises at least an opening this is opposite, or in contact, with the fluidic connector of the back side of the first support. An actuator is provided to rotate the second support about the first axis.

Device and method for introducing a cartridge

A terminal for making a hydraulic, electrical, or optical connection in an ink jet printing machine. The terminal extends along an axis XX', and its external surface includes: a cylindrical portion, including a contact end and having a first diameter (d), this end being provided with hydraulic or electrical or optical connection structure. The external surface also includes a collar, having a diameter (d) higher than the first diameter (d), and a throat, the bottom of which has a cross-section, in a plane perpendicular to the axis XX&#x2032;, having at least one arc of circle portion having a third diameter (d) lower than that of the collar, at least one planar part, and a part of this cross-section having a width lower than the third diameter. The throat continues with a connection device, for connecting to at least one hydraulic conduit or one electrical cable or one optical fiber.

Module of a printer with a configurable connector

A solvent or ink container plug includes a cylindrical base having an upper side and a lower side, the lower side being configured to face an inside of a container when the container is closed by the plug. The plug further includes a connection portion, connected to the upper side of the cylindrical base, the connection portion comprising at least two connection tips. The cylindrical base includes a first aperture and a second aperture provided at the lower side of the cylindrical base. Moreover, the first aperture and second aperture are each in communication with a corresponding one of the two connection tips. Further, the connecting portion has a side dimension, measured in a plane perpendicular to an axis of introducing the plug onto or into the container, that is smaller than the cylindrical base.

Solvent or ink container plug

A removable single-block assembly for an ink circuit of a continuous inkjet printer, including a plate having a plurality of fluid inlets and a plurality of fluid outlets, this assembly further including a first pump called a pressure pump, a second pump called a recovery pump, and a filter, fluid connection means to allow fluids to flow: between said fluid inlets, the first or second pumps, and said fluid outlets, and means for mounting and dismounting the assembly on the ink circuit.

Low-cost ink circuit

The invention relates to a washing assistance device for the fluid circuit of an ink jet printer, including: a support () defining, between an access front face () and a back face (), a substantially parallelepiped free volume (), support anchoring means (), means forming 2 fluid connections, the support anchoring means () and the 2 fluid connections being disposed on or against the back face, on the opposite side to said free volume ().

Maintenance aid device of a hydraulic circuit
