A fitting for an electrical conduit includes a fitting body having first and second open ends, and an interior surface defining a passage adapted to receive a piece of the electrical conduit therein. The fitting body includes a connection section that is configured to receive and connect to the electrical conduit during a connection process. A retainer is in the passage at the connection section of the fitting body. The retainer includes teeth adapted to engage the piece of electrical conduit received in the passage when the electrical conduit is inserted into the connection section during the connection process. A guide is in the passage of the fitting body. The guide is configured to center the piece of electrical conduit in the fitting body before the retainer engages the electrical conduit during the connection process.

A light-emitting diode (LED) luminaire assembly is provided, which includes an integrated housing having a mounting plate mounted horizontally within the integrated housing and divides the integrated housing into an upper and lower internal cavity. A driver is mounted to the mounting plate within the upper internal cavity and configured to provide electricity to an LED assembly. The integrated housing also includes multiple fins extending radially outward from the integrated housing. Heat from the driver is dissipated through the mounting plate and fins. A driver cover is coupled to the integrated housing to form the upper internal cavity. The LED assembly is coupled to the integrated housing to form the lower internal cavity.

Light fixture

A light fixture includes a light housing defining an interior space. A light source is at least partially disposed in the interior space of the light housing. A driver housing is attached to the light housing and defines an interior space. A driver is disposed in the interior space of the driver housing for providing electricity to the light source. The driver is configured for connection to a main power source for energizing the light fixture. A battery is disposed in the interior space of the driver housing and is configured to provide backup power to the light fixture in the event of a loss of power from the main power source.

A connection mechanism for connecting a first element to a second element including a plurality of bayonet tabs configured on one of said first element and said second element; and a plurality of bayonet slots engageable with the plurality of bayonet tabs, the plurality of bayonet slots configured on one of the first element and the second element that does not contain the plurality of bayonet tabs, wherein the plurality of bayonet tabs are aligned with the plurality of bayonet slots, subsequent to which, the first element is partially rotated with respect to the second element to facilitate the reception of the plurality of bayonet tabs within the plurality of slots, thereby providing a connection between the first and second elements.

Connection mechanism

The present disclosure relates to the field of luminaires. More specifically, the present disclosure envisages a drain arrangement for use with a luminaire that is supported on a wiring conduit via a junction box. The arrangement includes a hood coupled with the junction box via a connecting conduit, wherein connection cables from the wiring conduit are received within the hood via the connecting conduit and the junction box. An adaptor extends from the hood and the luminaire. The adaptor is defined by a sidewall extending from the luminaire and has an operative top surface configured on an operative top periphery of the sidewall. The adaptor further includes an annular inner sidewall configured to circumscribe an electric connection of the luminaire. A drain conduit extends from the adaptor and is configured to drain out the fluid collected within the adaptor outside of the annular inner sidewall.

Lighting fixture

A customizable panel mount receptacle includes an insulator body and a contact assembly. The insulator body includes a tubular flanged element, a contact retention ring and an insulator cover over-molded on the tubular flanged element. The contact retention ring is coaxially received within the tubular flanged element and includes a plurality of apertures and a first set of engaging elements. The contact assembly includes a conductive contact and contact retention pins and a second set of engaging elements configured on conductive contact. The conductive contact is removably and co-axially received inside the male insulator body. The contact retention pins engage with the apertures configured on the contact retention ring and the second set of engaging elements engage with the first set of engaging elements for facilitating interchangeable connections between different configurations of the male insulator body and the male contact assembly to reduce inventory.

A connector assembly includes a male connector element that is manually expandable to control tightness of fit in a and a female connector element. The male connector element is having a first and a second portion configured by longitudinally bi-furcating the male connector element and includes a chamfered portion, a radially adjusting mechanism and a screw. The chamfered portion is axially configured on male connector element and receives the radially adjusting mechanism that moves the first and second portions relative to each other. The screw axially passes through male connector element and radially moves the radially adjusting mechanism to adjust the gap between the first and second portions to adjust external dimension of male connector element. The female connector element is having a tubular configuration that receives male connector element and is having a plurality of longitudinal slits configured thereon, walls of the female connector element are urged radially inwards towards the male connector element to maintain contact there-between by a spring element.
