A refrigerator shelving system includes a nest, a boss, and a shelf. The boss extends outward from the shelf. The boss is configured to engage the nest to maintain the shelf in a stowed position. The boss is configured to disengage the nest to transition the shelf to an operational position.

Refrigerator and shelving system for a refrigerator

An appliance door assembly includes a front panel spaced apart from a rear panel. A door adjustment assembly is coupled with the rear panel and includes a housing that defines a cavity. A driven member is positioned within the cavity and extends at least partially from the housing. The driven member is movable between a first position and a second position. A driving member is rotatably engaged with the driven member and is configured to rotate the driven member. A bracket is coupled with the door adjustment assembly at a first end and coupled with the rear panel at a second end. The bracket abuts the housing of the door adjustment assembly when the driven member is in the first position and is spaced apart from the housing of the door adjustment assembly when the driven member is in the second position.

A refrigerator shelving system includes a first shelf, a second shelf, and a slide member. The first shelf has ramped surfaces defining a guideway and a nest disposed within the guideway. The second shelf is suspended from the first shelf. The slide member is secured to the second shelf. The slide member is configured to slide linearly relative to the second shelf. The slide member has a protrusion extending outward therefrom. In response to upward forces acting on the second shelf, the protrusion engages the ramped surfaces and the nest to transition between operational and stowed positions.

An adjustable refrigeration rack system may include a pair of parallel shafts arranged on a rear interior cabinet side of a refrigerator, a plurality of pairs of attachment mechanisms, each attachment mechanisms having one attachment mechanism arranged on one rail, and another arranged at equal height on the other rail, the attachment mechanisms configured to hold a shelf and selectively engage the respective shafts, and a drive mechanism configured to drive the shafts vertically, wherein movement of the shafts causes movement of the shelf arranged on the attachment mechanisms selectively engaged with the shafts, but not movement of a shelf arranged on the attachment mechanisms unattached to the shafts.

Modular storage

A refrigerator shelving system includes an upper shelf, suspenders, rails, and a lower shelf. The upper shelf has nests disposed along a bottom side of the upper shelf. The suspenders are rotatably secured to the upper shelf. The rails are suspended from the upper shelf via the suspenders. The lower shelf is slidably secured to the rails and has bosses extending laterally outward therefrom. Each of the bosses are configured to engage one of the nests to maintain the lower shelf in a stowed position. The lower shelf is configured to slide forward from the stowed position to an intermediate position via the rails to disengage the bosses from the nests. The lower shelf is configured to rotate downward and rearward via the suspenders to transition from the intermediate position to an operational position.

An augmented reality-based lighting design method includes displaying, by an augmented reality device, a real-time image of a target physical area on a display screen. The method further includes displaying, by the augmented reality device, a lighting fixture 3-D model on the display screen in response to a user input, wherein the lighting fixture 3-D model is overlaid on the real-time image of the target physical area. The method also includes determining, by the augmented reality device, illuminance values for locations in the target physical area, where the illuminance values indicate illuminance levels of a light to be provided by a lighting fixture represented by the lighting fixture 3-D model. The method further includes displaying, by the augmented reality device, the illuminance values on the display screen overlaid on the real-time image of the target physical area.

Systems and methods are provided for measuring input voltage in an alternating current (AC) system is provided. The method includes measuring a half-cycle time of an AC signal by: detecting, using a zero crossing detector (ZCD), a first edge of the AC signal; in response to detecting the first edge, using a timer to determine a start time; detecting, using the microcontroller, a subsequent edge of the square wave output of ZCD signal; and, in response to detecting the subsequent edge, using the timer to determine a stop time and a length of time that lapsed from the start and stop times. The method further includes determining an overall value that corresponds to at least one length of time, determining, based on the overall value, an input voltage range that corresponds to the overall value, and using the input voltage to cause the AC system to take an action.

A refrigerator drawer assembly includes a drawer body, a first wheel mounted on a first side of the drawer body, and a second wheel mounted on a second side of the drawer body. The first and second wheels have respective first and second widths. The assembly also includes a first guide body including a first track defining a closed side and an open side.
