Methods, devices, and systems for processing uplink broadcast or multicast ('broadcast/multicast') packets from a user equipment (UE) and distributing the broadcast/multicast packets to other UEs in a network. In some aspects, a UE may receive, from a base station, a downlink packet comprising broadcast or multicast (broadcast/multicast) Ethernet data for a protocol data unit (PDU) session of the UE with a data network (DN) associated with the base station, determining whether the downlink packet corresponds to an uplink packet previously transmitted to the base station by the UE, discarding the downlink packet for the PDU session based on determining that the UE previously transmitted the corresponding uplink packet comprising the broadcast/multicast Ethernet data for the PDU session to the base station, and processing the downlink packet for the PDU session based on determining that the UE did not previously transmit the corresponding uplink packet.

In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a user equipment (UE). The apparatus receives configuration information for a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission with one or more transmission reception points (TRPs), the configuration information assigning a comb value of greater than 4. The apparatus transmits, to the one or more TRPs, the SRS transmission using one of every N resource elements over a span of one or more resource blocks during a slot, where N is greater than 4.

Sounding reference signals and channel state information reference signals enhancements for coordinated multipoint communications

Aspects described herein relate to receiving, from a base station, a configuration for sending downlink control information (DCI) feedback for a downlink control channel monitoring occasion, where the configuration indicates one or more of an uplink control channel resource and an uplink shared channel resource over which to send the DCI feedback. DCI can be received from the base station over the downlink control channel during the downlink control channel monitoring occasion. DCI feedback can be transmitted, based on receiving the DCI, to the base station over the one or more of the uplink control channel resource and the uplink shared channel resource indicated in the configuration.

Techniques for downlink control information (DCI) feedback in wireless communications

The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for signaling enhancements. In one aspect, a User Equipment (UE) can receive a configuration to transmit one or more sounding reference signals (SRSs) based on a downlink control information (DCI). The UE can also receive an indication of a plurality of non-contiguous resource blocks (RBs) based on the DCI. The UE can transmit a first SRS on a first set of one or more RBs of the plurality of non-contiguous RBs. Additionally, the UE can transmit a second SRS on a second set of one or more RBs of the plurality of non-contiguous RBs. The first set of one or more RBs and the second set of one or more RBs may be separated by a distance of at least one RB.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier for a communication between the UE and a base station using a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration or a configured grant (CG) configuration, wherein the determination of the HARQ process identifier is based at least in part on an offset applied for the determination of the HARQ process identifier; and perform the communication based at least in part on the HARQ process identifier. A user equipment (UE) may receive an uplink packet duplication configuration that indicates a set of configured carriers and a number of copies of an uplink packet to transmit. In some examples, the UE may receive the uplink packet duplication configuration from a base station. The UE may select a subset of the set of configured carriers based on a selection criterion and the number of copies of the uplink packet to transmit, and transmit an uplink packet transmission that includes the copy of the uplink packet on each carrier of the subset of the set of configured carriers based on the uplink packet duplication configuration.

Packet duplication carrier enhancements

Aspects for enhanced logical channel prioritization mapping procedures and restrictions are disclosed. In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a logical channel prioritization (LCP) restriction configuration for a logical channel indicating a set of SRS configurations associated with the logical channel; receiving, by the UE, an uplink grant indicating an uplink grant instance and an SRS configuration for the uplink grant instance; and selecting, by the UE, the logical channel to use resources of the uplink grant instance based in part on the set of SRS configurations and the SRS configuration for the uplink grant instance. LCP restriction enhancement

A user equipment (UE) may utilize multiple radio link control (RLC) entities to duplicate packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) packets for improved reception. The UE may receive a configuration for dual connectivity with a master cell group and with a secondary cell group, wherein the configuration identifies a plurality of configured RLC entities, each RLC entity being associated with one of the master cell group or the secondary cell group. The UE may receive, at the UE, an indication of an activation status for each of at least a first subset of the configured RLC entities from one cell group of the master cell group or the secondary cell group. The UE may set the activation status of each of the first subset of the configured RLC entities that are associated with the one cell group from which the indication is received based on the indication.

MAC-CE design and power headroom considerations for PDCP duplication enhancements

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In an example, a method includes a first node receiving a precision time protocol (PTP) message, identifying one or more timing domains to be supported by the first node based at least in part on the PTP message, and sending, to a second node of the wireless communication network, an indicator of the one or more timing domains to be supported by the first node. Another example at a node includes receiving, from additional nodes of the wireless communication network, indicators of one or more timing domains supported by the additional nodes, receiving a PTP message associated with a timing domain, and sending the PTP message to a subset of the additional nodes based at least in a part on the indicators of one or more timing domains supported by the additional nodes.

Wireless communication enhancements for transparent and boundary clocks

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Autonomous transmissions between a user equipment (UE) and a base station may be configured that include at least one of a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) or resources for the transmissions. In some cases, a trigger may be detected that changes the MCS or resources to be used for the autonomous transmissions. The trigger may include the presence or absence of retransmissions or the value of a channel measurement falling below or exceeding a threshold value. Accordingly, the base station and UE may adjust the MCS or resources to be used for the autonomous transmissions based on detecting the trigger and then communicate using the adjusted MCS or resources. In some cases, the configuration for the autonomous transmissions may be signaled via a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE).

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify an overlap in time between at least a first occasion and a second occasion in a slot. In some cases, the first occasion may be semi-persistently scheduled for the UE according to a first configuration associated with a first priority level, and the second occasion may be semi-persistently scheduled for the UE according to a second configuration associated with a second priority level. The UE may apply, based on the identified overlap, a conflict resolution rule to the first occasion and the second occasion based on the first priority level for the first occasion and the second priority level for the second occasion, communicate in the slot using the first occasion, and refrain from communicating in the slot using the second occasion based on applying the conflict resolution rule.
