The present disclosure relates to a novel material used as a solid electrolyte for an all-solid-state battery. Particularly, the present disclosure relates to a sulfide-based solid electrolyte including lithium, sulfur, phosphorus and zinc elements, and a method for preparing the same.

Solid electrolyte, and method for producing same

The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a negative electrode for an all solid state secondary battery, including the steps of: (S1) preparing a preliminary negative electrode including: a current collector; and a negative electrode active material layer formed on at least one surface of the current collector, and containing a plurality of negative electrode active material particles and a solid electrolyte; (S2) disposing a lithium layer on the negative electrode active material layer; (S3) dipping the preliminary negative electrode having the lithium layer disposed thereon in an organic solvent; and (S4) removing the lithium layer. The present disclosure also relates to a negative electrode for an all solid state secondary battery obtained by the method. The negative electrode for an all solid state secondary battery provides improved initial efficiency and cycle characteristics.

The present disclosure provides a stack-folding typed electrode assembly including an electrode assembly having a structure in which a plurality of unit cells overlaps and a continuous folding separator is interposed between each overlapping part, wherein the continuous folding separator comprises a continuous porous polymer substrate having pores; and an organic-inorganic porous coating layer formed of a mixture of inorganic particles and a binder polymer, wherein the organic-inorganic porous coating layer is discontinuously provided at the overlapping part, to allow easy impregnation of an electrolyte solution, and reduce the volume compared to a traditional electrode assembly.

The present invention provides a pouch-type secondary battery comprising: an electrode assembly having, repeatedly stacked therein, unit cells comprising a positive plate, a negative plate, and a separator positioned between the positive and negative plates, wherein the positive plate and negative plate are respectively provided with a positive electrode tab and a negative electrode tab, and the positive and negative electrode tabs each converge in a predetermined direction; and a pouch case for sealing the electrode assembly, the pouch-type secondary battery being characterized by taping in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the electrode assembly along the stacking thickness direction of the electrode assembly, at the end of the electrode assembly at the part where the tabs converge, thereby improving the safety of the pouch-type secondary battery.

The present disclosure refers to a lithium secondary battery comprising LiNiOin a cathode active material so as to improve the phenomenon that the capacity retention ratio decreases at initial cycles when using an anode active material selected from the group consisting of Si, SiC, SiO(0&#x3c;x&#x3c;2), Sn, SnO, Sb, Ge and a mixture thereof. The lithium secondary battery according to the present disclosure can substantially improve the decrease of a capacity retention ratio during initial cycles.
