A method may include determining a dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS) policy in a two stage approach. In a stage, the method may include determining radio resource requirements of each user equipment (UE) among active UEs using an individual UE resource scaling factor. In another stage, the method may include determining the DSS policy based on cumulative radio resource requirements of the active UEs determined based on the individual UE resource scaling factor, and DSS scaling factors.

Methods and systems for determining DSS policy between multiple RATs

This disclosure relates to deployment of additional workload in the NFV-MANO to efficiently utilize resources during a lean workload period of Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) associated with an intelligent cloud platform. The method comprises measuring, over a time period, a current resource utilization level of one or more rendered VNFs. Thereafter, forecasting future resource utilization for the time period based on predictive analysis criteria and the current resource utilization level of the one or more VNFs. The method further comprises a machine learning based inference for determining whether the forecast future resource utilization for said time period is less than a determined optimal resource utilization threshold value of the one or more VNFs. Thereafter, resources of the one or more VNFs to one or more additional workloads are allocated based on the determination of the future resource utilization.

Intelligent cloud platform to host resource efficient edge network function

Embodiments herein provide a method and an apparatus of maintaining continuity of an on-going session over a wireless interface and a wired interface. The method includes identifying, by a media agnostic universal serial bus (MA-USB) layer, the on-going session between a USB host and a USB device over the wireless interface, detecting, by an application service platform (ASP) layer, an event corresponding to an interruption of the on-going session in the wireless interface, and concurrently continuing, by the ASP layer, the on-going session over a wired interface between the USB host and the USB device in response to the detected event. Wherein session continuity parameters are exchanged between the USB host and the USB device during one of an initial connection over the wireless interface and while initiating connection over the wired interface.

Method and apparatus for maintaining continuity of on-going session over wired or wireless interface

A method and electronic device for providing a tethering service is provided. The electronic device of the present disclosure includes a communication interface comprising communication circuitry and a processor configured to establish a direct connection with at least one external electronic device located in operable proximity of the electronic device using the communication interface, to check a predetermined input, to establish a session for connecting the at least one external device to at least one communication network via the electronic device based on the predetermined input, and to connect the at least one external electronic device to the at least one communication network via the electronic device during at least part of the direct connection session.
