The invention relates to a subframe, in particular front axle subframe, for a vehicle, in particular electric vehicle, having a first shell element and a second shell element which is rigidly connected to the first shell element and defines a cavity therewith. At least one of the shell elements has a side wall which, as an outer wall of the subframe, is connected to the other shell element or to another of the shell elements in a materially bonded manner having at least one bushing-like or sleeve-like spacer element for the insertion of a fastening bolt, preferably a screw bolt, for connecting to a body or component. The spacer element is arranged at one of its ends at a through-hole of the first shell element and extending inside the cavity in the direction of a through-hole of the second shell element. In order for the subframe to provide greater stability, in particular improved safety against failure of weld seams at the body connection and/or component connection, e.g. transverse bridge connection, with less or only slightly increased weight, the invention provides that the side wall of the shell element has at least one tab which is welded to the spacer element. This allows at least one additional load path to be implemented in a direction parallel to the longitudinal center axis of the spacer element.

Subframe for a vehicle, in particular an electric vehicle

The invention relates to an auxiliary frame for a vehicle, in particular an electric vehicle, with a longitudinal member composed of metal sheets, which has bearing connection points for a transverse control arm connection, the bearing connection points being formed in a bearing section of the longitudinal member which is open towards the wheel carrier side, wherein the bearing section is formed from a first single-shell metal sheet and a second single-shell metal sheet, wherein the second single-shell metal sheet is connected to the first single-shell metal sheet by a weld seam, wherein the first single-shell metal sheet has at least one of the bearing connection points, and wherein the second single-shell metal sheet has at least one of the bearing connection points. In order for the auxiliary frame to have a significantly higher stability, in particular higher bending strength and/or rigidity, with the same or only slightly increased weight, the invention provides that the first single-shell metal sheet, when viewed in cross-section, has a substantially Z-shaped shell section which has a profile section facing the wheel carrier side, a profile section facing away from the wheel carrier side and a profile section which connects the two profile sections to one another in one piece and is substantially upright in the assembled state of the auxiliary frame, wherein the weld seam is arranged at a distance from the substantially upright profile section on the profile section facing away from the wheel carrier side.

Auxiliary frame for a vehicle, in particular an electric vehicle

An auxiliary frame for a vehicle including a first shell element and a second shell element, rigidly connected to the first shell element, to define a cavity. The auxiliary frame includes a cross bridge for bearing a vehicle drive unit. The cross bridge is connected by a screwed connection to the first shell element and/or to the second shell element. The auxiliary frame includes a sleeve-like spacer element for the inserting of a screw for vehicle body connection. The spacer element is arranged at one of its ends at a through-hole of the first shell element and extends within the cavity in the direction of a through-hole of the second shell element. The spacer element has a sleeve-like portion for receiving a screw of the screwed connection of the cross bridge.

A method for producing a chassis link includes shaping a single-shell main body from a sheet metal blank and deforming the sheet metal blank by deep drawing, which includes pre-drawing during which an indentation is produced on the main body and in which the indentation is trimmed and a bush is attached to a projection on the main body once the indentation has been trimmed. The sheet metal blank is pre-drawn such that the indentation is given a radius that matches the bush to be attached such that there is no further need for a further forming operation on the indentation once the indentation has been trimmed.

Method for producing a chassis link

The invention relates to a chassis link including a single-shell sheet metal main body, on which a plurality of bearing regions are formed for attaching bearing elements by which the main body can be connected to the bodywork and to a movable part of a wheel suspension of a motor vehicle. The main body includes two arms which merge into one another and define a main-body plane and a concave edge region of the main body. The concave edge region extends from a wheel-side bearing region towards a bodywork-side bearing region and is at an angle relative to the main-body plane. For such a chassis link having a high inherent stiffness and a low weight the invention proposes that the angled, concave edge region includes, along at least one curve length portion, at least one oblique surface which, when viewed in cross section, encloses an angle in the range of from 25&#xb0; to 75&#xb0; with a surface, adjacent thereto, of the angled, concave edge region. As a result, the inherent stiffness of the chassis link is increased for a maintained sheet metal thickness.

Chassis link for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a subframe for a motor vehicle, in particular a front axle subframe, including a first shell element and a second shell element which is rigidly connected to the first shell element and defines a cavity therewith, and at least one bodywork connection sleeve for inserting a screw therethrough. The bodywork connection sleeve is attached at one of its ends to a through-hole in the first shell element and extends within the cavity towards a through-hole in the second shell element. So that such a subframe can be easily mounted and can provide a high level of security against slipping relative to the bodywork, the invention provides that an annular disc is allocated to the attached end of the bodywork connection sleeve, which disc projects radially relative to the outer surface of the sleeve, is arranged on the outside of the first shell element and is integrally bonded thereto, and that a toothed disc produced separately from the bodywork connection sleeve is arranged on the outside on the through-hole in the second shell element, which the other end of the bodywork connection sleeve faces, which toothed disc has an external diameter which is greater than the internal diameter of the through-hole in the second shell element, and is integrally bonded to the second shell element.
