A lower leg support device for a vehicle seat may have a first cushion carrier, a second cushion carrier, which is connected in an articulated manner to the first cushion carrier, and a coupling gear for transferring the first cushion carrier and the second cushion carrier from a non-use position to a use position. The coupling gear is able to be driven by a drive device. A vehicle seat may have the lower leg support device.

A motor vehicle seat may have a seat squab, a back rest, and kinematics for moving the vehicle seat from a use position suitable for conveying people to a non-use position or access position. The access position makes accessing a rear row of seats easier. The seat may be moved by a drive device from the use position to the non-use position, and vice versa. The seat may have a rear foot with a locking device that can be locked with a counter-element for securing in the use position. The seat may also have a protection device arranged in the region of the locking device for detecting an obstacle in a movement path of the rear foot when the vehicle seat is moved from the non-use position to the use position.

Vehicle seat

A double fitting for a vehicle seat may have a first fitting part and a second fitting part that are drivingly connected to each other. The double fitting may also have adapter parts that can be connected to at least one of the fitting parts. One of the adapter parts can be connected to a structural part of the vehicle seat or to a vehicle body part, and the other adapter part is movably connected to a limited degree to the other adapter part which can be rigidly connected to the structural part or the vehicle body part. An elastic element is arranged between the adapter parts, a first fitting of the fittings is arranged axially between the adapter parts, and one of the adapter parts is arranged axially between the fitting. A vehicle seat having the double fitting is also disclosed.

A vehicle seat () with a seat segment () which includes a first seat area () with a first backrest () that can be pivoted about a pivot axis (A) running in a transverse direction (y) and a second seat area () with a second backrest () that can be pivoted about the pivot axis (A). The second backrest () is equipped with a locking device () which interacts with a locking bracket () provided on the first backrest (). The locking device () includes at least one axis pin () with a longitudinal axis () that is inclined relative to the transverse direction (y).

A vehicle seat, has a seat part, a backrest, and at least one fitting, by which the back rest is attached pivotably to the seat part. The fitting has a first fitting part connected to the backrest and a second fitting part connected to the seat part. The fittings are normally located in the force flux between the backrest and seat part. The seat has at least one deformation zone which is deformed in the event of a crash. A supporting element is mounted on the backrest and a supporting element is mounted on the seat part, the supporting elements normally being spaced apart from each other and, in the event of a crash, coming into contact with each other because of the deformation of the deformation zone to provide a further force flux path lying parallel to the fitting.

A longitudinal adjustor for a vehicle seat has a first seat rail and a second seat rail which engage around one another to form a rail profile and can be moved relative to one another in the longitudinal direction, and a rail locking member which can lock the seat rails to one another, an activation arrangement for activating an unlocking unit, a force-transmitting element which connects the activation arrangement to the unlocking unit. The force-transmitting element and interacts with the unlocking unit within the second seat rail, wherein a positively locking connection is provided between the force-transmitting element and the unlocking unit, and that the force-transmitting element serves simultaneously for mounting the activation arrangement in a pivotable fashion.

Longitudinal adjustor for a vehicle seat

A vehicle seat, particularly a commercial-vehicle seat is provided with a scissor-type stand () which is able to vibrate and which is provided with a top frame (), two first rocker arms () and two second rocker arms (), which intersect in pairs at a scissor axis () extending in a transverse seat direction (y). The first two rocker arms () are connected with one another at one end via a transverse tube () which extends in the transverse seat direction (y) and are pivotably mounted on the top frame () and able to vibrate in the longitudinal seat direction (x) via a bearing mechanism (). The transverse tube () can be locked with the top frame () via at least one locking device ().

Vehicle seat, in particular commercial vehicle seat

A seat arrangement is provided that includes, but is not limited to a first and a second vehicle seat, which are disposed adjacent to one another in a seat row and of which the first vehicle seat has a backrest, which can be pivoted from a substantially upright usage position in the seat direction forward into a substantially horizontal non-usage position. The backrest, includes, but is not limited to at least one height-adjustable cushion portion which, in the non-usage position of the backrest, can be moved by means of a four-bar mechanism having four articulation axes from a lower armrest non-usage position into an upper first armrest position to form an armrest for the second vehicle seat. The articulation axes extend transversely to the seat direction and are inclined with respect to a horizontal transverse to the seat direction. In an alternative embodiment, the articulation axes extend in the seat direction in the non-usage position of the backrest.

An automobile seat is provided that includes, but is not limited to a backrest, a seat portion, a backrest pivoting mechanism, and a two-link seat-portion pivoting mechanism. The seat portion is fastened to the backrest or the backrest pivoting mechanism so that it is pivotable about a first transverse axis and the backrest is fastened to the backrest pivoting mechanism so that it is pivotable about a second transverse axis, so that the backrest may be pivoted from a usage position in which the seat portion adopts a first position, forward about the second transverse axis into a non-usage position, in which the seat portion occupies a second position, in which the seat portion is displaced rearward with respect to the first position. The backrest pivoting mechanism is a four-link backrest pivoting mechanism, which is configured in such a manner that the second transverse axis may be displaced rearward into the non-usage position by pivoting the backrest.

A seat arrangement is provided for an automobile comprising a vehicle seat, a longitudinal guide for displacement of the vehicle seat in the longitudinal direction, and a transverse guide for displacement of the vehicle seat in the transverse direction. A forced guidance is furthermore provided, this being configured in such a manner that during displacement in the longitudinal or transverse direction, the vehicle seat is automatically also displaced in the transverse or longitudinal direction.

In a geared fitting () for a vehicle seat, in particular for an automotive seat, having a first internal geared wheel (), an eccentric () rotatable about an axis of rotation (A), a pinion () driven by the eccentric () and meshing with the first internal geared wheel (), and a second internal geared wheel () in which the pinion () meshes and which is mounted on the first internal geared wheel (), at least one wedge system () is provided axially offset from the eccentric (), with respect to the axis of rotation (A), the wedge system () acting to compensate for the play between one of the internal geared wheels () and the other internal geared wheel () and/or the pinion ().
