An arrangement for securing a steering column to a cross member, in particular to a cockpit carrying member, of a motor vehicle, includes a steering column with retaining means. This arrangement makes it possible on the one hand with simple means to secure the steering column to the cross member of the motor vehicle and, on the other hand, with a further reduction in costs and weight, to enable a high degree of flexibility in relation to the use of the cross member and the steering column for different motor vehicles, by including a cross member that has, for securing the steering column, at least one hole running transverse to the longitudinal direction of the cross member for at least one securing means, and retaining means of the steering column wherein the retaining means are secured by at least one securing means to the cross member.

Arrangement for securing of a steering column of a motor vehicle

A hybrid cross bar is provided, such as for supporting a vehicle dash board. The cross bar is supported, directly or indirectly, on at least one body location of the vehicle by a deformation element. The deformation element has a first sub-region enclosed by a plastic encapsulation. A second sub-region of the deformation element has a deformation region outside of the plastic encapsulation.

The invention relates to a motor vehicle steering system comprising a differential drive, said differential drive having a carrier structure (), a drive shaft () with a shaft end () facing the differential drive, an output unit () with a shaft end () facing the differential drive, and an auxiliary drive comprising a stator () and a rotor (). The aim of the invention is to simplify the structure of one such differential drive as much as possible. To this end, the shaft end () of the drive shaft () carries a first toothed disk () which is connected to the drive shaft () in a rotationally fixed manner, the shaft end () of the output unit () is connected to at least parts of the carrier structure () in a rotationally fixed manner; the carrier structure () carries a second toothed disk () which is connected thereto in a rotationally fixed manner; and the rotor () comprises a first cylindrical section () and a second cylindrical section () that is bent in relation to the first section () at an angle (a). The first section () faces the output unit () and the second section () faces the drive shaft (). A swash unit () arranged on the bent second section () couples the two toothed disks () together in a driving manner.

An adjustable steering column for a motor vehicle includes a steering spindle, a jacket unit bearing the steering spindle, a bracket unit, mountable on the chassis of the motor vehicle, with at least one side jaw, which extends laterally of the jacket unit and bears the jacket unit (), an openable and closable securement device which includes a clamp bolt penetrating elongated holes in the jacket unit and in the at least one side jaw, as well as at least one bracing part penetrated by the clamp bolt. The at least one bracing part is implemented in the form of a substantially planar plate. A connection with the jacket unit and the side jaw, displaceable into the particular displacement direction of the steering column and nondisplaceable into the particular other displacement direction, is completed through at least one bolt penetrating an elongated hole, wherein the bolt is connected with one of the two parts to be connected nondisplaceably into both displacement directions and the elongated hole is disposed in the other of the two parts to be connected and extends in the particular displacement direction.

Adjustable steering column for a motor vehicle

A vehicle steering device has a single electric motor which, at the same time, introduces energy for desired rotational speed conversion and auxiliary power support into the system. Steering interventions by a driver of the vehicle, in the form of a driving moment exerted by a vehicle steering wheel, are superimposed with a driving movement of the electric motor, and these two motors are initiated jointly onto a driving element.

The invention concerns a driving unit including a liquid cooled electric motor (,) and a planetary gear (,). One of the three main elements of the planetary gear, namely the element used as the reaction element, drives the positive displacement pump of the cooling circuit. Preferably, this element is the ring gear with an inner toothing (,) and said ring gear itself constitutes the pump rotor. The liquid circuit passes into a hollow shaft (,) of the motor rotor and through a radiator (,) incorporated in the common casing (,) containing the motor and the gear. Such a driving unit can be applied to driving a machine or a vehicle.
