Methods and apparatus for a relational modeler and renderer for non-relational data are disclosed. In response to an indication of non-relational data sources, a relational data model based on one or more model inclusion criteria is generated to represent at least some contents of the non-relational data sources. In response to a model population request from a client, data obtained from the one or more non-relational data sources for one or more tables of the model is stored in cache storage allocated on behalf of the client. In response to a read-only operation request directed to the model, results of the read-only operation are obtained from the cache storage and provided to the requester.

Relational modeler and renderer for non-relational data

A customer may use a disaster recovery service to generate a disaster recovery scenario in order to make certain resources available to the customer in the event of a data region failure. The customer may specify a recovery point objective, a recovery time objective and a recovery data region for the scenario. Accordingly, the disaster recovery service may coordinate with one or more other services provided by the computing resource service provider to reproduce the customer resources and other resources necessary to support the customer resources. These reproduced resources may be transferred to the recovery data region based at least in part on the parameters specified by the customer. In the event of a data region failure, the disaster recovery service may update the domain name system to resolve any customer requests for the customer resources to the recovery data region.

Disaster recovery service

Technology is described for providing data exchange services. A set of definitions for a data exchange service that is accessible via a data exchange domain may be received. The data exchange service may be configured to facilitate an exchange of device reporting information transformed using the set of definitions. The exchange may be between a first device and a second device. The device reporting information may be received from the first device. The first device may be registered with the data exchange service. The device reporting information may be in accordance with the set of definitions. The device reporting information may be forwarded to a second device via the data exchange service. The device reporting information may be converted to a data format that is readable by the second device, and the device reporting information may be forwarded to a second device via the data exchange service.
