A machine including a cradle configured to hold an electronic device. The machine also can include an alignment base comprising pins configured to engage with an alignment mechanism of an overlay applicator. The overlay applicator can include an overlay configured to be applied to a screen of the electronic device. The alignment base can include a first side and a second side adjacent to the first side. The pins can be located on the first side and the second side. Other embodiments are described.

Overlay applicator machine and method of providing the same

An apparatus including an overlay with a top side and a bottom side. The apparatus also can include an adhesive component with a top side and a bottom side. The top side of the adhesive component can be adhered to the bottom side of the overlay. The adhesive component can be configured to adhere the bottom side of the overlay to a screen of an electronic device in a single-use application of the overlay by adhering the bottom side of the adhesive component to the screen of the electronic device. The apparatus can be configured such that, when the overlay is removed from being adhered to the screen of the electronic device after the single-use application of the overlay, at least a portion of the adhesive component is detached from at least a portion of the overlay. Overlay for an electronic device

In one embodiment, a headset system comprises a headset comprising a body and an earpiece, and a docking station comprising a receiving mechanism sized to receive a portion of the body. The earpiece can be located outside of the receiving mechanism when the portion of the body is coupled to the receiving mechanism. Other examples and embodiments are described herein.

In some embodiments, a connectivity device is configured to provide electrical power to a first electrical device and facilitate communications between the first electrical device and at least one second electrical device. The connectivity device further is configured to couple to a cigarette lighter and an external electrical power source. The connectivity device can include: (a) a first removable cigarette lighter adapter having: (1) a first electrical output interface; and (2) a power interface configured to removably couple to the cigarette lighter; (b) a base module having: (1) at least one first interface; (2) a second interface configured to removably couple to the first electrical output interface of the first removable cigarette lighter adapter and configured to also couple to the external electrical power source; (3) a third interface configured to removably couple to the first electrical device; and (4) a first control configured to receive operational instructions for the first electrical device. Connectivity device and method of providing same

A holder, electrical supply, and optional radio frequency transmitter unit to hold, supply power to, and receive a data signal from an operating electronic device when the device (e.g., MP3 player) is held in the unit is disclosed. Electrical power enters the unit's power acquisition portion (e.g., cigarette lighter adapter) from an external source and flows to the electronic device via the holder. A data signal from the electronic device is processed by an radio frequency transmitter in the unit, and the resulting radio frequency signal is broadcast by an antenna (e.g., gooseneck) that preferably forms a repositionable mechanical connection between the holder and the power acquisition unit.

A safety mechanism capable of blocking an opening to an electrical connection in an electrical outlet includes a safety barrier coupled to the electrical outlet at a pivot point and a biasing member adjacent to the safety barrier. The safety barrier is rotatable between a first position, in which the safety barrier blocks the opening, and a second position, in which the safety barrier does not block the opening. The biasing member biases the safety barrier toward the first position. In the same or another embodiment of the invention, the safety mechanism forms a part of one or more electrical outlets contained in an electrical product.
