An Enterprise Management Portfolio Hub allows a user to perform enterprise portfolio management activities from a single point of control. EPMH relates information, analysis, display and control based on the organizing concept of the business components that comprise the CBM map of the enterprise by collecting portfolio information from existing portfolio management tools and generating a portfolio model. It allows the user to interact with or access information from various Portfolio Management applications and services through the portfolio model. EPMH supports evaluative techniques that can be used to identify areas for business transformation and to generate transition plans.

The exemplary embodiments of the invention provide apparatus, systems, methods and computer program products for scoring entities in order to use the scoring for such tasks as identifying and prioritizing those entities that are candidates for further investigation, for example, from an audit or business control perspective. In an exemplary aspect of the invention, a method includes: providing transaction data having a plurality of pieces of information and an identification of a corresponding entity of a plurality of entities, wherein at least one piece of information of the plurality of pieces of information corresponds to each entity of the plurality of entities, wherein the transaction data comprises input data; computing at least one score for each entity of the plurality of entities by applying at least one statistical analysis technique to the input data, wherein the computed at least one score for a tested entity is indicative of at least one of a magnitude of deviation of the tested entity from a determined normal and repeated abnormal behavior of the tested entity; selecting zero or more entities of the plurality of entities by comparing at least one computed score of each entity with a specified threshold, wherein the selected zero or more entities comprise candidates for further investigation; and ordering the selected zero or more entities based on at least one computed score of each entity of the selected zero or more entities.

Apparatus, method, and computer program product providing improved identification of suspect entries in transaction data

Provides methods, systems and apparatus for generating alerts for a system process that obtains raw channel data over time from one or more monitored channel of the system process. An example method includes processing the raw channel data to form time dependent signals based one or more user specified processing rules. The method produces alerts based on the deviation in behavior in one or more channels, where the deviation is quantified by a numeric level computed by comparing signals for varying time intervals with historically normal baseline signals. The method may include filtering the alerts to selectively form reportable alerts that are presented to the user based on user specified filtering rules.

Monitoring multiple channels of data from real time process to detect recent abnormal behavior

A system for detecting clusters in space and time using input data on occurrences of a phenomenon and characteristics at a plurality of locations and times comprises an expectation generation module determining expected occurrences of a phenomena, and an occurrence modeling module determining actual occurrences of the phenomena. The system further comprises a search module searching the expected occurrences and the actual occurrences for a plurality of candidate solutions, wherein each solution is represented as a set of points in the three-dimensional space, and wherein each point corresponds to a location at a time. The system comprises a convex container module determining at least one solution corresponding to a selected convex container shape from the plurality of candidate solutions, and a solution evaluation module determining a strength metric for each solution determined by the convex container module, the search module selecting a dominant cluster in the input data.

A method is provided for ranking a plurality of items. The method comprises initializing a (D&minus;1) dimensional weight space including a feasible region, where D is equal to a number of attributes and a point in the weight space corresponds to each attribute, determining an item pair, and querying a user to select an item from among the item pair. The method further includes reducing the feasible region based upon a user's item selection, and ranking the items according a ranking point in a reduced feasible region. The ranking point is a center of the reduced feasible region, wherein the center is one of a vertex barycenter and center of gravity. The ranking point corresponds to a users item selection. The method includes the step of selecting a plurality of hyperplanes, each hyperplane corresponding to an item pair such that the hyperplane divides the feasible region into two substantially equal portions.

Method of ranking items using efficient queries

A method and apparatus is disclosed for generating a regression tree with oblique hyperplanes from a training set of records. The method is performed iteratively, stopping when a criterion has been reached. A new set of vectors is computed as the iteration proceeds. The vectors used are not restricted to the attribute axes and hence oblique hyperplanes are allowed to split nodes in the generated regression tree. Generally, the computation of the new vector set uses the regression tree produced in the latest iteration. The leaf nodes of this tree are considered pair-wise to compute the new vector set for use in the next iteration. The iterative process produces a set of regression trees from which a best tree is chosen as the final result of the method.

Generating regression trees with oblique hyperplanes

A method and apparatus is disclosed for generating a decision tree classifier with oblique hyperplanes from a training set of records. The method iteratively comprises the steps of: initializing a set of vectors to the numeric attribute axes; creating a decision tree classifier using hyperplanes orthogonal to the set of vectors; checking if the iteration stopping criteria has been reached; computing a new set of vectors if the iteration proceeds; and choosing the best decision tree when the iteration is stopped. The vectors used are not restricted to the attribute axes and hence oblique hyperplanes are allowed to split nodes in the generated decision tree. The computation of the new vector set uses the decision tree produced in the latest iteration. The leaf nodes of this tree are considered pair-wise to compute the new vector set for use in the next iteration. The iterative process produces a set of decision trees from which the best one is chosen as the final result of the method.

Generating decision-tree classifiers with oblique hyperplanes

A method for modeling complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) combinatorial logic circuits by Boolean gates taking into account circuit behavior effects due to charge storing and static hazards. Models are developed for both the faultless and faulty operation of each circuit. According to a further aspect of the invention, these models are used in a simulation procedure to evaluate the fault coverage of a large scale integrated circuit design built using a plurality of these circuits. In the evaluation procedure the faulty model is used only for a particular circuit whose failure performance is being tested and the faultless model is utilized for all other circuits. This procedure is continued until all of the individual gate circuits have been evaluated.

Method for the modeling and fault simulation of complementary metal

A method of simulating a differential cascode voltage switch circuit (domino circuit) by replacing each switch-level logic tree by a three-section Boolean tree. In each section, a switch is replaced by an AND gate. The first and third section pass signals in one direction and the second section passes signals in the opposite directions. The three sections are interconnected end to end. Various faults can be simulated by holding selected internal signals at faulty values.

Fault simulation for differential cascode voltage switches

A shift register latch (SRL) arrangement for testing a combinational logic circuit, producing true and complement outputs in nature, has two clocked DC latches and additional circuitry for providing an input to the second latch. Clock signal trains and an extra TEST signal are used to control the SRL arrangement in different modes. In a first mode, one of the outputs from the combinational logic circuit is latched into the first latch and provided to a succeeding combinational logic circuit. In a second mode, a plurality of the SRL arrangements are interconnected together to form a shift register chain so that each latch acts as one position of the shift register chain. Further, in a third mode, the true and complement outputs of the combinational logic circuit are exclusive ORed and its result is latched into the second latch. During the third mode, output of the first latch is prevented from being latched into the second latch.
