A method and apparatus provide for low latency transmissions. A higher layer configuration message can be received that indicates a set of resource blocks for receiving data packets in at least one symbol of a subframe. An attempt can be made to decode a data packet in a first set of resource elements within the set of resource blocks. The first set of resource elements can be in the at least one symbol of the subframe. An attempt can be made to decode the data packet in at least a second set of resource elements within the set of resource blocks. The second set of resource elements can be in the at least one symbol of the subframe. The second set of resource elements can include at least one resource element that is not in the first set of resource elements. The data packet in one of the first set of resource elements and the second set of resource elements can be successfully decoded. A data payload of the decoded data packet can be delivered to an application layer.

Method and apparatus for low latency transmissions

For transmitting an uplink channel, one apparatus includes a processor and a transceiver that that communicates with a User Equipment ('UE') in a mobile communication network. The processor receives, from the UE, a first uplink channel on a first uplink resource and receiving, from the UE, a second uplink channel on a second uplink resource, where the first uplink resource and the second uplink resource at least partially overlap in time, and where the first uplink channel is for a first transmission and reception point (“TRP”) and the second uplink channel is for a second TRP, wherein the first TRP is different than the second TRP.

One method includes transmitting, from a first network node ('NN'), an indication of repeater-assisted communication to a second NN and a third NN. The configuration information includes control information that corresponds to whether the second NN and the third NN are turned on or turned off, the control information corresponding to whether the second NN and the third NN are turned on or turned off is correlated, the control information identifies timing information for the second NN and the third NN, and the timing information indicates whether the second NN and the third NN are expected to transmit a signal received at the second NN and the third NN at a prior time to the first NN and/or a fourth NN based on the configuration information.

The processor performs a Listen-Before-Talk (“LBT”) procedure for a plurality of DRS transmissions within a DRS transmission window and controls the transceiver to transmit—for a given spatial direction—a SS/PBCH block upon successful LBT for the given spatial direction.

The method includes, in response to determining that the attribute is soft: determining whether the resource is indicated as available; and performing an operation on the resource.

An apparatus is configured to determine a precoder for a set of modulation symbols representing at least two distinct multiplexed streams of information. The UE can switch to a RRC idle state based in part on a determination that the RRC connection suspend configuration is not included in the group RRC release message. A network entity can generate the group RRC release message with the group mobility configuration, and the group RRC release message is intended for communication to the group of multiple UEs. The network entity can then transmit the group RRC release message to the group of multiple UEs.
