An ergonomic task chair having a front and a rear, including a laterally extending seat having a front and a rear, a back brace disposed above the rear of the seat, and a knee support disposed in the front of the chair, wherein the back brace and the knee support have a first position where there is a first minimum distance between the back brace and the knee support and a second position where there is a second minimum distance between the back brace and the knee support, the second minimum distance being less than the first minimum distance, wherein movement from the first minimum distance to the second minimum distance is triggered by a downward movement of the seat.

Adjustable ergonomic chair

A garment comprising first and second lower leg portions each having a distal and a proximal end, each lower leg portion including an anchor disposed proximate the distal end thereof, a first keeper fixed to the first lower leg portion proximate the proximal end thereof, a second keeper fixed to the second lower leg portion, proximate the proximal end thereof, an elongate lumbar support assembly having a first end and a second end, a first mating member disposed at the first end of the elongate lumbar support assembly and adapted to releaseably mate with the first keeper, and a second mating member disposed at the second end of the elongate lumbar support assembly and adapted to releaseably mate with the second keeper.

Lower body garment with integral back support

An ergonomic support for maintaining a user in an erect sitting posture, including a seat, a knee brace and a backrest, the position of which are adjustable relative to one another. Also set forth is a self-contained ergonomic chair which includes a frame to be supported on a floor, a seat supported to the frame, a backrest supported to the frame to the rear of the seat, a knee brace supported with respect to the frame to be positioned forward of the seat, and a manual adjustment mechanism operable by a person seated in the chair to adjust the forward and rearward spatial relationships of the seat, the backrest and the knee brace with respect to each other.

Ergonomic chair

A waist supported carrying case including a therapeutic back support for supporting the lower back region of a user in a seated position. The carrying case includes a belt for securing the carrying case to the waist of an individual and a pouch assembly positioned on the belt. The pouch assembly includes at least one sleeve having a therapeutic back support therein.

Back support with knee and foot engaging straps

A back support for use with a collapsible body support. The back support includes at least one first rib having a first end, a second end, and a central portion between the first end and the second end, wherein the first end includes structure for pivotally securing the at least one first rib to a first support member. The back support further includes at least one second rib having a first end, a second end, and a central portion between the first end and the second end, wherein the first end includes structure for pivotally securing the at least one second rib to a second support member. The central portion of the at least one first rib is pivotally connected to the central portion of the at least one second rib to form a support surface upon which an individual can rest their back.

Collapsible back support

A combination back support for use during stretching and/or sitting with the legs extended or not extended. The device includes a substantially rectangular lumbar back support with a multiplicity of pairs of inelastic straps used in a first configuration to engage the knees of a user and with the addition of a strap extension used to engage the feet of a user. When the user is in one of the various seated positions, the straps are connected to form loops which are fitted over either the feet or Knees of the user. As the user applies pressure with the feet or knees, the lumbar rectangular support is pulled tight around the user's lower back, providing ample support.

Combination stretching and back support device

A combination back support for use during stretching and/or sitting with the legs extended/not extended. The device includes a substantially rectangular lumbar back support with a multiplicity of pairs of inelastic straps configured in a first configuration to engage the feet of the user and in an alternative configuration to engage the knees of the user. When the user is in one of the various seated positions, the straps are connected to form loops which are fitted over either the feet or knees of the user. As the user applies pressure with the feet or knees, the lumbar rectangular support is pulled tight around the user's lower back, providing ample support.

A back support device which supports the lower back of the user enabling the user to sit in an upright position for extended periods of time formed of a flexible back conforming support panel having elongated sleeves and a unitary strap threaded through the sleeves forming adjustable loops which engage the knees of a user to tension the support against the wearer's back.

Disposable back support

A back support adapted to engage the lumbar region of the wearer having a pair of straps which extend longitudinally from the ends of the support member and terminate in loops to engage the knees of the wearer when the wearer is seated on the ground or on a backless support, such as a bench or the like. The force of the wearer's knees on the straps pulls the back-supporting member against the lower back supporting it and enabling the wearer to sit upright comfortably for extended periods of time. The back support is provided with an integrally formed container pack by providing a closure member along the outside periphery of the support which, in the closed position, forms a container pack for the straps. Carrying handles are provided. The back support further includes a connector, such as a buckle, for connecting the straps, thereby keeping the knees of the user together in a more comfortable position. The back support also includes a retainer strap to attach and maintain the back support in position on the back of the user when the straps are disengaged from the knees of the user.

An upper torso garment including an integrally formed back support member adapted to engage the lumbar region of a wearer. A pair of straps extend longitudinally from the ends of the support member and terminate in loops to engage the knees of the wearer when the wearer is seated on the ground or on a backless support such as a bench, or the like. The force of the wearer's knees on the straps pulls the back supporting member against the back of the wearer supporting the back and enabling the wearer to sit upright comfortably for extended periods of time.

Upper torso garment with integral back support

A back supporting device which permits a wearer to sit in an upright position for extended periods of time without discomfort including a flexible padded back support dimensioned to engage and support the lower back of the wearer and straps attached to the end of the pad which are adapted to loop around the knees of the wearer when in a sitting position in order to tension the support against the wearer's back.
