The present invention relates to tetrahydrofurfuryl derivatives and more particularly to their use as internal electron donors in Ziegler-Natta catalysts to obtain polymers with desirable properties. The present disclosure further concerns Ziegler-Natta catalyst components comprising said tetrahydrofurfuryl derivatives and Ziegler-Natta catalysts for olefin polymerization comprising said Ziegler-Natta catalyst components, as well as a method for preparing the same and their use in providing polyolefins.

The present invention relates to optionally substituted 1,3-dimethoxypropanes and 3-methoxypropylamines, and more particularly to their use as internal donors in Ziegler-Natta catalysts to obtain polymers with desirable properties. The present invention relates to use of optionally monosubstituted 2,2-di(tetrahydrofuryl)methanes, as internal donors in Ziegler-Natta catalysts to obtain polymers with desirable properties. The present disclosure further concerns Ziegler-Natta catalyst components comprising said optionally monosubstituted 2,2-di(tetrahydrofuryl)methanes and Ziegler-Natta catalysts for olefin polymerization comprising said Ziegler-Natta catalyst components as well as a method for preparing the same and their use in providing polyolefins.

The present invention relates to a process for producing of solid particulate olefin polymerisation catalyst or catalyst carrier comprising forming a solution of the catalyst or a catalyst carrier in a solvent, subjecting the solution into an atomization by spraying the solution via a capillary vibrating spray nozzle with a capillary orifice having a diameter of 5 to 100 μm generating a laminar jet of liquid, which disintegrates into liquid droplets entering into the spray-dryer, transforming the droplets with aid of a gas to solid particulate catalyst or carrier in the spray-dryer and recovering the solid particulate olefin polymerisation catalyst or carrier having particle size distribution defined by a volumetric SPAN of 0.7 or less. The invention further relates to the catalyst produced by the methods, and use thereof in olefin polymerisation process.

The present invention relates to a cable jacket composition comprising a multimodal olefin copolymer, said copolymer having density of 0.935-0.960 g/cmand MFRof 2.2-10.0 g/10 min and said composition having ESCR of at least 2000 hours and a cable shrinkage of 0.70% or lower. This invention relates to a solid MgCb-based Natta catalyst component comprising a Cto Calkyl tetrahydrofurfuryl ether as internal electron donor for producing olefin polymers and preparation of said catalyst component. Ziegler-Natta catalyst and preparation thereof

A polyethylene composition comprising a base resin is disclosed herein. The base resin includes an ethylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A1), and an ethylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A2). Fraction (A1) has a lower weight average molecular weight than fraction (A2). The base resin has a melt flow rate MFRof equal to or less than 8.0 g/10 min and a density of 930 to 950 kg/m3. The polyethylene composition has a melt flow rate MFRof 0.01 to 0.3 g/10 min, a flow rate ratio FRRof equal to or more than 20 and a ratio of the weight average molecular weight and the number average molecular weight (M/M) of equal to or less than 30. Also the polyethylene composition has a tensile modulus of less than 1000 MPa. Also a process for the production of a polyethylene composition comprising polyethylene base resin is disclosed herein.

The invention further relates to the catalysts and use thereof in said multistage process r for producing ethylene copolymers having melt flow rate ratio FRRat least 40 and/or polydispersity index PDI of at least 27.

Process for producing polyethylene

A process for producing copolymers of ethylene and at least one alpha-olefin having from 4 to 10 carbon atoms in the presence of a solid Ziegler-Natta catalyst comprising of magnesium, titanium, halogen and an internal organic compound, the copolymer having a density of from 906 to 937 kg/mand a melt flow rate MFRmeasured at 190&#xb0; C. under 21.6 kg load of from 3 to 150 g/10 min. The process includes the steps of (A) homopolymerising ethylene or copolymerising ethylene and a first alpha-olefin having from 4 to 10 carbon atoms in a first polymerisation stage in the presence of the polymerisation catalyst, hydrogen and optionally the first alpha-olefin; (B) copolymerising ethylene and a second alpha-olefin having from 4 to 10 carbon atoms in a second polymerisation stage in the presence of the first homo- or copolymer of ethylene and the Ziegler-Natta catalyst; and (C) recovering the polymer mixture.
