Pyrido thiazinium dyes

Disclosed are thiol dyes of formula (I), wherein R, R, R, Rand Rindependently from each other are hydrogen; unsubstituted or substituted, straight-chain or branched, monocyclic or polycyclic, interrupted or uninterrupted C-Calkyl; C-Calkenyl; C-Caryl; C-Caryl-C-Calkyl; or C-Calkyl(C-Caryl); A is a residue of an organic dye; and Yis the direct bond; CCalkylene; C-Ccycloalkylene; C-Carylene; or C-Carylene-(C1-Calkylene). The compounds are used to dye hair with or without reducing agents. Furthermore, the present invention relates to compositions comprising thiol dyes of formula (I) and to process for the preparation of theses compounds.

The compounds are useful for dyeing of keratin-containing fibers with or without reducing agents. 

Xanthene dyes

Disclosed are thiol dyes of formula (1), wherein Ris hydrogen; C-Calkyl; or phenyl-C-Calkyl; X is C-Calkylene; C-Calkenylene; C-Ccycloalkylene; C-Carylene; or C-Carylene-C-Calkylene; Y is the residue of an organic dye which corresponds to the formula (1), wherein Ris hydrogen; or C-Calkyl; Ris a radical of formula (1): (1); or (1); or Rand Rtogether with the linking carbon atom C form a 6 to 10 membered carbocyclic ring which may optionally be a condensated aromatic system and may contain one or more than one hetero atom; and R, Rand Rindependently form each other are hydrogen, or C-Calkyl; Z is H; or a thio ester group of formula (1), wherein A is O; S; or N&#x2014;R9; B is &#x2014;OR7; &#x2014;NR7R8, or &#x2014;SR7; and A is O; S; or N&#x2014;R; B is &#x2014;OR; &#x2014;NRR, or &#x2014;SR; and R, Rand R, independently from each other are hydrogen; C-Calkyl C-Caryl; or C-Caryl-C-Calkyl. The compounds are useful for the dyeing of organic materials, such as keratin fibers, preferably human hair.

Cationic imidazolazo dyes containing a 2,5-diaminophenyl moiety

Disulfide dyes, composition comprising them and method of dyeing hair

The present invention relates to novel the cationic dyes of formula (1) wherein Ris an unsubstituted or substituted C-Calkyl or an aryl radical; Xis an anion; Ris an unsubstituted or substituted C-Calkyl, aryl radical, C-Calkoxy, cyanid, nitro or halide; n is 1 or 2; and if n is 1, then Ris hydrogen, unsubstituted or substituted C-Calkyl; or if n is 2, then Ris an unsubstituted or substituted C-Calkylen. Cationic direct dyes

The present invention relates to novel cationic yellow dyes of formula (1) wherein Rand Rare each independently of the other a C-Calkyl radical or an unsubstituted or substituted benzyl radical, Ris hydrogen, C-Calkyl, C-Calkoxy, cyanide or halide, preferably hydrogen and X is an anion, with the proviso that at least one of the substitutents Ris a benzyl radical and Ris a methyl radical, Ris not hydrogen, also to compositions therof, especially comprising other dyes, to processes for the preparation therof and to the use therof in the dyeing of organic material, such as keratin, wool, leather, silk, cellulose or polyamides, especially keratin-containging fibres, cotton or nylon, and preferably human hair.

Yellow cationic dyes for dyeing of organic material

A method of colouring porous material, especially human hair, is described, which method comprises applying to the material being coloured, in any desired order successively, or simultaneously, a) at least one capped diazonium compound of Formula (1) and/or at least one compound of Formula (2) and/or at least one compound of Formula (3) wherein Q is an unsubstituted or substituted aromatic or heterocyclic residue, R is the radical of an unsubstituted or substituted, water-soluble aliphatic or aromatic amine, and T is an unsubstituted or substituted, water-soluble aliphatic or aromatic residue, wherein at least one of the groups must contain a radical imparting water solubility, and a) at least one water-soluble coupling component under conditions such that, initially, coupling does not take place, and then causing the capped diazonium compound present on the material to react with the coupling component
