A computer includes a processor and a memory, and the memory stores instructions executable by the processor to, in response to one of a vehicle feature of a vehicle being active or the vehicle being in a preset geographic area, control acceleration and braking of the vehicle based on input from an input device of the vehicle according to a low-speed mode; and in response to the low-speed mode being inactive, control acceleration and braking of the vehicle not according to the low-speed mode. In the low-speed mode, acceleration occurs upon receiving input from the input device. In the low-speed mode, braking occurs upon not receiving input from the input device.

Low-speed vehicle control

A computer includes a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to determine that a door of a vehicle is attached to the vehicle based on data from at least one of a camera of the vehicle or a radio receiver of the vehicle; upon determining that the door is attached to the vehicle, actuate a component of the vehicle based on data from a door sensor of the vehicle, the door sensor indicating whether the door is open or closed; determine that the door is detached from the vehicle based on the data from the at least one of the camera or the radio receiver; and upon determining that the door is detached from the vehicle, actuate the component without relying on the data from the door sensor.

A vehicle system includes an engine, a transmission, an exhaust system, an adjustable valve, a sensor, and a controller. The engine is configured to propel a vehicle. The transmission is configured to transfer power from the engine to at least one drive wheel. The exhaust system is configured to route exhaust away from the engine. The exhaust system has a catalyst and an outlet. The adjustable valve is disposed within the exhaust system proximate to the outlet. The sensor is configured to observe human gestures. The controller is programmed to receive signals from the sensor indicative of the human gestures while the transmission is in a parked gear. The controller is further programmed to, in response to the sensor observing a first human gesture, increase an operating speed of the engine or adjust the valve to increase a noise output from the outlet of the exhaust system.

In one example, a model in a controller determines one or more temperatures of the electrically driven compressor to establish a power output upper threshold that is not to be exceeded by the electrically driven compressor. Various actuators may be adjusted responsive to the power output upper threshold to reduce the possibility of electrically driven compressor degradation.
