A solar panel washing assembly for automatically cleaning solar panels includes a plurality of solar panels that is each positionable on a support surface to be exposed to sunlight. A fluid supply pipe is fluidly coupled to a pressurized water source w to receive pressurized water and a control unit is positioned proximate the support surface. The control unit is fluidly coupled to the fluid supply pipe to receive the pressurized water. A plurality of distribution pipes is each fluidly coupled to the control unit to receive the pressurized water when the control unit actuated into the open condition. A plurality of spray nozzles is each fluidly coupled to a respective one of the distribution pipes to spray the pressurized water onto a respective solar panel to clean the respective solar panel.

A window system for use in a vehicle is disclosed. The window system may include a first layer electrically controlled to fade between states including an opaque state and a transparent state. The window system may include a second layer electrically controlled to display visual imagery on the window, where the first layer and second layer are configured to derive at least a portion of energy for their operation from a solar light source.

Systems and methods for tintable car windows having display capabilities

A technician's tool for installing and repairing fiber optic cables includes a tubular housing having an open, substantially bell-shaped head portion at an upper end. Positioned within the housing, proximal the bell-shaped head portion, is a light source with a lens superimposed thereon. The lens is divided into a plurality of adjacent sectors whereby every other sector is transparent while each sector therebetween is discretely colored. Rotatably mounted over the lens is a receiver plate with a plurality of hollow receiver posts extending therefrom; each receiver post is adapted to connect to a fiber optic cable connector. By rotating the receiver plate, the technician can either project white light beams or discretely colored light beams through the receiver posts, depending upon the application.
