In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a connecting member configured for positioning on an upper surface of an integrated circuit package and a cable comprising a first end attached to the connecting member and a second end configured for electrically coupling with a power supply component. The connecting member is operable to position the cable for connection to the upper surface of the integrated circuit package to deliver power from the power supply component to the integrated circuit package with the power supply component and the integrated circuit package mounted on an upper surface of a printed circuit board. A method is also disclosed herein.

Apparatus and method for direct power delivery to integrated circuit package

A stress tearable tape includes an elongated film and a hand tearing arrangement. The film has a non-adhesive surface and an opposed adhesive surface, and defines a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction. The hand tearing arrangement includes a plurality of pinholes formed along the longitudinal direction of the film. With the combination application of internal force, shear tension, compression tension, pinhole arrangement, and material's biaxial structure, and users' habit together, each of the pinholes enables the film being torn by hand with a force starting at one of the pinholes, such that the film is hand tearable at any section in the transverse direction thereof.

A primary flight control device for an aircraft, such as a flaperon attached to an aircraft wing, utilizes independent yet interactive airgap control systems designed to avoid weight penalties associated with conventionally used cam and track systems. An actuator directly controls movements of the flaperon; the flaperon motion is then used to slave separate movements of secondary flight control devices, such as a flaperon hinge panel and a cove lip door, to various positions of the flaperon for indirect control of aerodynamic air gaps during flight. The use of a bell crank for indirectly slaving the flaperon hinge panel movements to the flaperon avoids conventionally used cam and track systems. Although the cove lip door utilizes a separate linkage system, the bell crank and cove lip door linkage systems work in conjunction to assure desired aerodynamic airflows over the aircraft wing and flaperon structures.

A sticker includes a backing layer, a sticker body including a top layer and an adhesive layer, and a security arrangement cutting through the top layer only and being stopped at an adhesive layer to ensure the sticker body being completely removed from the backing layer without tearing the top layer apart. The security arrangement includes a plurality of lead edge notches evenly provided along the outer flange of the top layer, and a cutting line structure formed at the top layer. After the sticker body is completely removed from the backing layer and is applied for sticking on an object surface, the sticker body becomes a self-destructive layer by the security arrangement to be torn apart at the time when the sticker body is removed from the object surface so as to ensure the sticker body being unable to be removed completely from the object surface.

A carrying container for bottles includes a container body and a packaging reinforcing arrangement. The container body, which is made of a one-piece panel structure having a plurality of folding lines provided thereon, includes a bottom wall, a top wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and two side walls to form a substantially cubic structure of the container and to define a receiving cavity. The packaging reinforcing arrangement includes two reinforcing walls integrally extended from two side edges of the bottom wall to the two side walls respectively, and supported within the receiving cavity at a position that a front reinforcing edge and a rear reinforcing edge of each of the reinforcing walls are biasing against inner surfaces of the front and rear walls of the container body for effectively resisting an external impact force.

A method of controlling size of a congestion window, includes, at a transmitting device, transmitting a plurality of data packets over a communication channel from the transmitting device to a receiver, determining a queuing delay and a loss rate of the transmission, comparing the queuing delay to a threshold queuing delay, comparing the loss rate to a threshold loss rate, and in response to a determination that the queuing delay is greater than the threshold queuing delay and the loss rate is greater than the threshold loss rate, resetting the size of the congestion window in accordance with a function of the current size of the congestion window, the queuing delay, and the loss rate, wherein at equilibrium the function generates a value inversely proportional to a weighted sum of an excess queuing delay and an excess loss rate.

An optical metrology model for a repetitive structure is optimized by selecting one or more profile parameters using one or more selection criteria. One or more termination criteria are set, the one or more termination criteria comprising measures of stability of the optical metrology model. The profile shape features of the repetitive structure are characterized using the one or more selected profile parameters. The optical metrology model is optimized using a set of values for the one or more selected profile parameters. One or more profile parameters of the profile of the repetitive structure are determined using the optimized optical metrology model and one or more measured diffraction signals. Values of the one or more termination criteria are calculated using the one or more determined profile parameters. When the calculated values of the one or more termination criteria do not match the one or more set termination criteria, the selection of the one or more profile parameters and/or the characterization of the profile shape features of the repetitive structure are revised.

A package arrangement for storing a container includes a carton having a receiving cavity, and a die cut insert. The die cut insert is detachably disposed in the receiving cavity of the carton, and includes a top panel having at least a top panel cavity and a bottom panel having at least a bottom panel cavity aligned with the top panel cavity of the top panel, wherein the die cut insert is adapted for substantially retaining the container in the carton when the container is slidably inserted into the die cut insert through the top panel cavity and the bottom panel cavity at a position that an upper portion of the container is encircling supported by the top panel and a lower portion of the container is encircling supported by the bottom panel.

Rapid, sensitive and accurate immunoassays for biologically active natural or recombinant human interferon-gamma (huIFN-gamma) based upon monoclonal antibodies which react specifically with epitopes of the biologically active form of huIFN-gamma are disclosed. The immunoassays include sandwich immunoradiometric assay of the forward, reverse or simultaneous type and competitive binding assay such as radioimmunoassay. The assays are also useful for the detection of macrophage activation factor now believed to be identical to huIFN-gamma. In addition, methods of purification of huIFN-gamma employing the monoclonal antibodies are described.
